Good idea Foxtrot but I honestly think if he stays but still done with MGS they will continue without him and if he left they will do the same. Even if they are Restructuring why break up the best team you have or take their name off their latest work like a lot of people say it is weird to do that seems more than just Restructuring.
How do you know they do not make him make MGS being one of the biggest franchises in video games. Him saying he wants to quit making MGS games could have caused their stock to drop lol. Didn't the dude that made a bunch of Castlevania games leave because they would not let him work on anything else?
I need to find my comment but when he said he was done with MGS I guessed Konami would not let him thus he would have to leave like the dude that made the Castlevania games. I hope he opens a new studio and announce a new game soon.
For those who are saying maybe it was not a good game maybe it wasn't but who know this guy might make the next minecraft or something like that and when he do he might not even consider MS. But I am sure MS gets thousands of request from devs they could have overlooked him.

I kinda hope that does not happen Kojima said this is his last MGS but he did say if it continues which I think Konami would keep it going remaking MG1 & 2 would be a great start for a new developer then maybe do their own thing afterwards if it makes enough money.

I would think most of the games would be the same across the board except for exclusives which I think starting out only 1st party devs will be doing that the space is not big enough for dev to make for only one platform unless we see Sony, Valve, and FB (yeah I call them Facebook not Oculus) paying for exclusives which I doubt we see in the beginning.
