Spending real money to learn something new is a part of his job so you can't use that excuse imo. I work in I.T. and I sometimes take classes to keep up on the latest stuff if not I will be behind and someone who knows the new stuff will take my job that is just part of the game if you work with any type of tech.

I wonder if Devs can get past this by releasing a game on xbox with a new character or ship then once it is on the console can they later offer that item as free dlc on PlayStation console. I guess they would have to sign something that says this item will never be released on another platform.

If you go back and see what RAD said about what they was hoping to achieve I think they for the most part achieved it. @ Crimzon Idk Blood bourne is doing great have you seen the reviews for this game even though I am not getting it not into the dark souls type game but it does look tempting tho. I think it is up to the gamers and what you want some people might not be into uncharted or GOW but might want Halo and other stuff. Xbox only has 3 games I would want to play so far was going to get one just for Titian fall glad I didn't I can wait until part 2.
I can see him going to Sony just based off where he came from a company that probably would not allow him to make something new. Sony is known for letting their devs create what they want more than one 1st party studio has claimed that. Not to say that other companies do not do that you just do not hear about it as often as how much Sony devs talk about it.
I say yes the only reason I chose PS2 was because of MGS2 at the time was only on PS2. Then I got the PS3 mostly for MGS4 but also GOW then Uncharted came out. Now I mostly got the PS4 for the next Uncharted getting tired of GOW but have to play Uncharted lol. So if it was not for those exclusives I don't think I would have been so loyal to Sony. Only MS exclusives I liked was Halo and got tired of it after Halo 2 haven't seen anything I would like until I saw QB.
For me it is better to start with MGS3 then move on. Things just makes more sense when you get to it instead of kinda getting a hint then finding out later what something meant but to each their own I guess.

Why wouldnt they just come out and say Kojima is not going anywhere but they don't they say he will help Konami support MGS5 then pull his name and the name of the studio off all the box art and websites. I think the Castlevani guy said they would not let him work on anything else I can see Konami doing that with Kojima and MGS. I also think it could be Kojima and Kojima Productions are getting bigger than Konami so they are trying to rename everything and bring them more in house because you are more likely to buy a game that says Kojima Productions than Konami so they could be trying to make the Konami name stronger.
