@zeksta
I'd like to know your definition of innovation.
I'll get disagreed with for saying it, but how is battlefield being more innovative than call of duty. They are basically carbon copies of their predecessors with improved visuals, there is nothing innovative about that.
I will probably still give both a go, but please don't try to kid me than either of them are innovative.
Thing is my friend, most gamers aren't on this site or any other gaming site.
People on here, who care about more than just the games, ie. the gaming news and the state of the industry itself; could very easily be put into the class of hardcore gamers - whether or not a lot of us are or aren't is another story.
First class ticket to 1 bubble, the peasant can say what he wants.
Such a stupid comment, and that tone of being superior to him.
@ Shades
Thank you for the clarification, and yes that conclusion is beyond my comprehension as well.
@Megatron D
Also thanks, and obviously the disagree button is there for people to disagree with your opinion. I think I could have said what I meant a bit better than I did. I don't agree with hacking, I don't think its smart. I don't know how anyone can catch them, if I did I'm sure I'd have a different opinion. (Feel fr...
Did what BlackTar said make sense to anyone else? I mean I know my english isn't perfect (I study engineering - I do the mathz) but I don't get what he just said.
You actually could be on to something there; however, I think if someone was impersonating Anon, then the real Anon would come forward and say it wasn't them.
But yes, its funny to see how they have changed.
There is a good reason they have exposure. People may call them immature little script kids. But they have f*cked around with everybody and anybody. They are a force to be reckoned with. It's pretty scary how much control they have, at the moment every company fears them, and still no end in sight.
Guys, I recon they make it hot and noisy on purpose. /s
@kharma
Smaller fans = higher rpm, thats a big assumption to make. How about, improved fan design, lower rpm (higher air flow efficiency) = less power consumed.
I'm pretty sure Sony wouldn't make a louder playstation to save you a couple cents on your electricity bill.
Hmmm.... podium animation good. One of the red bulls going over the grass and the astro in the rain without a twitch, not so good.
@wizzo
What kind of big step are you expecting? This gen has given us pretty stunning graphics already, I mean they could make everything play at 60fps and 1080p but would it actually change the visual style of games.. no.
I really struggle how to think they could push graphics much further. Better textures maybe and higher resolutions. What do I know, I have no idea how these guys (devs) do what they do, its pretty amazing to me.
If someone breaks into my home because I leave the door unlocked, and they are simply opportunistic.
Who's fault is it? Insurance certainly would say it was my fault, the robbers would say it was my fault for making it too easy. And I would say it was my fault too.
That has never happened to me, but when I went camping last year, I sillily left my car keys in my jeans and put them near the tent entrance, I woke up to an unlocked car with my valuable bel...
A patent doesn't mean they can't create that feature, it just means they have to pay M$ to use it. And as Drekken said, look at all the clones on the market, there are loop holes in anything. Probably the most wanted feature on PS3, personally don't feel as if I need it. I talk via textbox if my headset is out of battery, I talk to friends that play in the same game as me.
@Pixelword
And how do you propose we pay for content? Credit card details wouldn't match up. US PSN cards from... ebay? For about twice the price?
To use them on snipers for a purpose, you would need to be able to go prone, which I know wasn't in any of the BF: Bad Company series.
@emek
I've seen more hacks on 360 MW2 than PS3 MW2.
The only thing it could possibly hurt is their profit margin.
Awesome? Is that what you call it.
I definitely agree with this. And as online functionality isn't my primary purpose for playing F1 games, I shall be waiting to pick this up cheap or second hand. I'm looking forward to seeing how safety cars change up the racing. But its literally like F1 2010 version 2.0
@LOGICWINS
Your totally right, it comes down to preference. I know that a lot of people prefere the 'feel' of CoD compared to Battlefield. 60 fps on CoD is better for its fast paced gameplay, whereas battlefield is sluggish in comparison. Again it seems to be the cool thing to hate on CoD. So disagree if you must, but there is a good reason CoD has got to where it is. People prefere CoD, no matter what it looks like.
Edit: Also, as logic said below, ...
