Albeit maybe a little washed out. I hope it plays well.
Blu-Ray is for the videophiles--in fact it might be safe to assume most casual gamers don't have 60 inch 1080p plasmas in their dens. And it might be safe to assume that many casual gamers still have standard def tvs from years back. I wouldn't think the casual gamer/casual movie watcher would really care if their quality of movie was hi-def or standard def. As long as the movie looks decent on their tv, I think they're happy.
I dunno, I remember back when DVDs were becoming...
c'mon, "I" heard that they're not making ANY money on the downloadable content and that they needed to cut their losses and sell the game at a cheaper price
but that's what I HEARD...
give a source, man
Like I said, it's wonderful that Microsoft, a western company, has established a presence in Japan.
If they can maintain a higher customer satisfaction rate than the Wii and the PS3, and if they can keep pouring money into establishing a viable market in that area, there's no reason why the next generation for the 360 wouldn't compete at the same level as the PS3/PS4.
There just aren't that many products that Westerners can sell to Japan, it's typically the other...
It has been so hard for Microsoft to establish a fan base in Japan. I wonder how they did it?
I also wonder if the results would be the same in the United States. I mean, it's no secret that a majority of commentators on N4G are PS3 fans, but if the survey was applied using the same criteria to a varied population in the States, it makes you wonder who would come out on top...
Anyway, congrats to all the systems for doing well.
...isn't this like the 5th list the scariest games of all time article on N4G... same list over and over again...
"I have no mouth and I must scream" is the scariest of all.
...and my local game store employee said that there is talk of axing the next gen PSP as well.
Oh rumors will you never stop...
gross...pervert
I JUST EXPLODED ALL OVER MY KEYBOARD!
No. It will revolutionize shooters like Haze did.
...of fanboys when I make comments...
Casual gaming began to take over when options became more limited, i.e., the joystick. So anything that required a joystick (controller) really was a casual experience: Joust, Pacman, Galaga, etc.
But there was an era during the early ninties and late eighties, where PC users had to rely on the keyboard to provide choices in the form of short phrases. Of course, I'm speaking of when Sierra Games was at its finest.
Kings Quest 1-4, Hero's Quest, Space Quest 1-3, Li...
...everybody nowadays needs to be right. They can't seem to get much perspective. Who cares who is right and who is wrong...I mean really. After seeing the blind rage that is shown in his examples (and in many comments in N4G), it's clear that gamers can't handle the wealth of information available on the internet. Instead of making an informed opinion about something, they take bits and pieces of what they can find through google and make it fit their viewpoint.
A truly in...
It was only a matter of time...
I know it's long...but it talks about kojima wanting to work with western companies. He has also expressed an interest in working with the 360 technology in previous interviews.
that's what I'm referring to. I'm not just being some douche bag who comments for no reason. *ahem
Kojima wants to come to the west, eh?
I'm sure Microsoft will have a nice cozy seat open for you with all the American women you could ask for... :p
That "official" does not indicate "definitive". What makes this official is that it comes from an "authoritative source", that being Playstation Magazine. Official is getting thrown around too much recently.
For something to be truly announced official, there need to be an official request. I don't remember reading in the article if there has been an official request to whether or not God of War surpasses KZ2. And plus, who would make that requ...
...like me. The kind of person that says to themself, "I want to play some good games, have some good multiplayer games with my friends, and don't wanna spend a lot of money," probably doesn't have much desire to have a 60 inch 1080p plasma, 6.1 surround sound, a gamers chair, and a large collection of new blurays.
Netflicks streaming is good for a casual movie that doesn't require going out and buying a new bluray or dvd.
I don't think the PS3 will lose...
looks like the beginning to a techno fantasy music video
...almost there...
