all you guys who disagree, compare for yourself:

it does look good (not as good as the original trailers), but I mean, seriously, it seems to pale next to magna carta 2
see for yourself...
...i dunno...it kinda looks a little poopy now...
personally, i'm more excited about magna carta 2

I understand the $100 issue...but to remove the hardware capable of playing PS2 games because they're not making new PS2 software is ridiculous. My PS2 library is enormous and there are a mountain of decent games that I have yet to play. My PS2 broke down, which is why I got a PS3. But the fact that it had no backwards compatibility just pisses me off. I don't want new PS2 stuff...I wanna play the great PS2 games again and again and again.
Sold my PS3 and got a 360. I've b...
yeah, that trend won't change...
why would they have it in there in the beginning and then take it out?
to sell ps2's?
wow
...please!
and he does!

..haha, when you blew a monster up they would just disappear. love it
...I hope they can make good games. Jerry Bruckheimer is always big on over the top...I think it'll be nice.
Maybe we'll see a trend of movie directors being involved in games.
C'moooon David Lynch games!!

...because it doesn't compare to the $60 million graphics that sony sank into Killzone 2. Newsflash, not every developer has $60 million to make a video game.
I think today's bar has been set a little too high graphically. Small companies don't have the resources to compete anymore. They go out of business.
Meanwhile, the history of the GAMEPLAY of DN3D is legendary:
A Shrink Ray - Shrink your opponents. Can reflect off of mirrors. Then squish em ...
...but I'm thinking about the amount of money 3drealms had lost...and how much money they had sunk into the project.
now consider the amount of money killzone 2 received from sony (around $60 million)
I hate to say it, but i feel these companies with bottomless bank accounts and endless resources set the bar too high for smaller companies like 3drealms, especially in the world of FPS's.
there i said it.
if microsoft does acquire this project...
...i think having MS buy this game would be a terrific win for american game publishers. it's clearly american, with an american flavor, and an american sense of humor. something american gamers have lacked as of late...
the weapons were amazingly wonderful. just try to imagine what the multiplayer would be like with these weapons...
a shrink gun - shrink your opponents down to the size of a mouse, then squish em with your boot. can be reflected against mirrors
the freeze ray - freeze your opponents, then boot em to ice pieces. can also be reflected on mirrors
laser trip mines
pipe bombs - lay a ton of these things next to a health kit, then run to your n...
those sidescrollers were really good...
i think 3d realms during the 90s was going to be known for making good off the wall games that didn't take themselves too seriously, dn3d and shadow warrior... i think gaming needs that..especially nowadays...
I still think biggest hoax in gaming history and they'll have a giant duke boot bust down a wall at E3.
I vote for in game engine with fancy camera work...
...most of me wanted to believe it was true.
Where did he admit it? Link?
They could make a great, long lasting FPS with this franchise.
reviews aren't too great...i dunno...
