I didn't include PC, but you are right! Seriously, I want a reason to buy an X1X. I adored my 360. But, for me, there just isn't one right now. I'm so backed up with my Pro that I don't know why I would buy one unless I wanted to simply play sp multiplat games in a bit truer resolution, sometimes. All mp games would be on the Pro because that's where my friends are now after 3 yrs.
It uses to be when I had time lol! Seriously, las gen was a great example. You needed a 360 to play ME, Halo, Gears, Lost Odessey and Bethesda game lol! It had the summer arcade etc. Hell, even Kinect was cool before we knew of its limited capacity. Sony had GoW, Uncharted, The Last of Us etc. It is exclusivity that allowed Sony to catch up by the end, while also charting their course for this gen. The Wii was great for parties and the family, and the DS, well, ya had to have i.

It makes no more sense than it did before E3, unless you have money to blow and wanna play multiplat games in a more powerful system. If you are someone who buys everything, then yeah. I buy everything that makes sense, and all I am asking for is one killer app!
The reason I have a hard time with this is because why would they not have shown a teaser for at least one huge new IP to get ppl excited to buy their new console?
Keep giving it to us!! Can't wait until they have time now that the engine is good and most assets are complete.
It's not a gonna replace Overwatch for PvP. That's for sure! I love D2, but many of the choices conceening mp are questionable.
It's because they were slated for the WiiU, and we won't see another Zelda or Mario for awhile. The WiiU failed B/C of lack of software for one, and the Switch stole the games we were waiting for. This helped sell the Switch, but what is next?
Games like Pikmin etc. Are good, but only a handful actually sell systems.
That's why I love Souls and Nioh etc. It's one final boss after another!
I'm happy, but imagine 4k/60fps. Drooling!
Depends on how they handle it. But I am sure we will get terrible P2P again, which is terrible for an entirely online game...and Destiny 2 lol!
When you need to write an article...
I know ya get hate, but it's hard to argue that thebSwitch is underwhelming for certain. I LOVE their games, and it would be amazing to get them in 4k/60 fps. I'd give anything. But it's hard to argue with their love of money. They have always printed money. And they want the most number of people to be able to afford the Switch, especially since it's strongest pull is its mobile capability. I wish they had given us something like the Pro, and then a mobile device, but oh well...
Of course they did! But I think Sojy is doing alright!
That's the new X1X tagline. For $500, all these multiplats will look especially amazing!
And forcing diversity into games is a weak argument too. Why? Because it doesn't help promote it. What does, is a great game with a minority protagonist that is written for him or her. A game that showcases why there is a place for all types of games. But creating a trend just to feel socially secure doesn't work. It is better to highlight differences and the characteristics that make them so great! Mafia 2 is a good example. If CoD includes female resistance fighters, or a regiment o...
Here we go! Shots back! First shots fired concerning forced parity with D2. Now, MS's partnership is gonna tell us there may be no Pro version. That doesn't even make sense. Use checkerboard and get it done. Or risk a ton of sales.
This article is interesting because MS has me confused. When Pro was announced (Neo), everyone flipped out B/C it would split the base. It didnt. It's a great offering to new buyers, 4k owners and anyone who likes to keep up. It also extends the life of the PS4, not exceeding the original price. It is closer to the PS4 in power, and the doors are open for another upgrade or gen.
Now MS comes along and announces the X as almost a resurgence. It's leap is huge but it ...
Makes ya want a 4k/ to fps Mario and Zelda
Well, this is kinda dumb!
I agree. PvE players are getting a much better experience than vanilla Destiny. It's evolved a ton. But mp is very strange. I will give them the benefit of the doubt, and I know they said they chose their server architecture for Destiny specifically, but imho, it seems that they don't separate mp from sp, and thus, have made choices that favor PvE.
It seems that 4v4 was chosen to help deal with P2P connectivity problems, as is every other choice that slows the gamep...
