Maybe I'm too harsh. Its just that I hate it when a game the quality of k3 or crysis 2 comes out and everyone is still playing what i consider to b an inferior game in black ops. They wont even try them. And then its, i hate cloaking, i hate boys, and on and on. I just want activision to b forced to up their game. Right now, they have all the power. Also, crysis 2 is not a 7. I only needed to read ur first paragraph. The only fps u were planning to buy was modern warfare 3. Let me key u in to some games that were/are coming out this year, killzone 3, homefront, crysis 2, brink, resistance 3, and battlefield 3 & the only fps u were gonna buy was mw3, even though black ops, though decent, was a sign of decline, and raven is making cod 8. My guess is that activisions priority is not on this years call of duty. On the wings of black ops sales, and the mediocrity of k3, homefront, and crysis sales...not quality, they will expect to outsell everyone again. And i believe that they will get the sales, atleast 1 more x, simply on the modern warfare monicer. Kronos is definitely one. Leaving the vault for the very first time was more than words. My first time down the bathesphere into rapture was definitely momentous. The beginning of uncharted 2 basically told me, this is gonna b something special. And mass effect had me from the moment i put it in. On the ps3, i have to change my display settings to 720p to eliminate blurring. I do not have to do that on k3, the upscaling is fine. K3 in my opinion is the best looking game to date, but they also had the advantage of not having to replicate a real life city. I must say that if u are playing for the campaign, rent it but the multiplayer, while adding nothing new just as halo and cod do, it is different. I would call it a blend of the two. It is quite deep and definitely worth buying. Apart from maybe k3, it is my favorite fps multi available right now and if u own an Xbox and love online fps, buy it. The online will keep u engaged for quite some time.
