I like reading what appears to b an honest preview, just a synopsis of his time w it. I have loved resistance since the beginning and I love that the story actually has become more and more pessimistic with each entry. Its a tough year as there r so many great games to look forward to, but I have this pre ordered as I'm confident it will b worth my money.
Seriously, I'm fine w it. If European ppl get certain weapons then instead of so many ppl complaining about how unfair pre order in game legitimate items are, ask them to provide a different set of them to us in America or in Japan. I love the idea of actually getting something real for ur pre order. And any hardcore gamer knows that ppl will trade and sell their dlc codes, if u want them that bad. Boycotting what is hopefully the cod killer is not the answer, especially over this. Simply...
I still loved DA2 but they attempted to do with it what they did w mass effect to overwhelming praise, make it more mass marketable. Unfortunately today, the creators don't have the final say. Hopefully, though, for the next one they bring back what we liked from the first, but keep the aesthetics and graphics of the second one. They are still master story tellers and i had no problems there. I dunno, ppl rage about some rpgs that have action oriented combat and others want a more strateg...
We will probably see low scores til mw3 and halo 4 come around and then we will see tens. I will admit, not much has changed from the 1stone, mechanics wise. Its very similar, but it perfects that which it is good at...creating an open world for a super hero, or vilian, to simply destroy everything. The story is a little weak, but Cole isn't. He is a bad ass super hero w the ability to single handedly turn a city upsidedown...a city that actually feels really and alive. Did they push hard...
Are u flipping kidding me. All the work that they are doing to make a phenomonal games and ppl are bitching and making an issue out of this. For one, all 1230 of these ppl most likely have the damn thing pre ordered. If u r a huge fan,u should love the idea as real pre order bonuses, not gimmicks, will have more ppl pre ordering over the competition like mw3. I'm not a huge online fps fan, but i have it pre ordered, and i love the idea of items that actually make it worth reserving it. It...
I think its simple. In a time of revolutionary games changing the landscape for the better, there sits kotick with dollar signs in his eyes. Its fine, I guess to simply pump out another cod and rake in the money, but my hats go off to dice for attempting to up the ante, to actually make a better game. It may not outsell mw3 because of name recognition etc., but b3 will b about 1-1.5 pts higher on metacritic, maybe 2. But that's what u get when dice releases a new engine, and the rebuttal ...
I have never looked forward to a modern military fps as much as I am b3. They will have their cod4 moment this year. I hope gamers chose to play. I know it may never mirror the final game but i have faith that the PC version will b a game changer and that the console versions will b among the best console games period. My biggest worry is that so many gamers will write it off before they even play it.
Old news but got me thinking. I have said that either Sony or Microsoft should release their next console as a powerhouse machine w the best available tech, but have no disc drive, no blue ray, nothing that jacks the price up. Then, it can b sold for a reasonable amount. But, also, make it almost like a PC gaming machine wan os w apps like they have now but also w the ability to download digital games at a discount or team up w valve to offer either steam or a competitive service. It will nud...
It depends on difficulty like killzone and cod. Its fine as everyone buys it for multiplayer. Actually, I wish there was more of a distinction and there may b after cod elite launches. Dice and infinity Ward can simply sell initial online games 4 $40. Have paid subscriptions of $5/ month and get out of the single player all together, spend their time and money on multi. They can begin to incorporate single player aspects into multi for dramatization and story, but keep it online like unchart...
Why the hell wouldn't they? How much polling do they need to do to realize that the average hardcore gamer grew up w Mario, link, Shamus, etc. Use ur new specs and build a good Zelda game. My goodness, that wasn't even that mature, its simply ocarina of time in HD. Mature would b a Zelda adventure the likes of skyrim. How awesome would that b?
Well, I consider skyrimmy number 1 game to get. But, for fps, b3is also a must buy. After that, its revelations, Batman, rage, deus ex...but sorry, mw3isnt even on my radar this year...unless reviewers say, wow, they've done it again and changed the game. But my money says its a slightly better mw2.
That's exactly how I felt, like, why am I even doing this? And, yes, infamous was much better, goin to get the 2nd one now. I just hope a 3rd game in a row doesn't glitch a trophy like la noires brass trophy...wtf. sorry, can't get it off my mind.
I'm a huge ps3 fan, but i can sympathize w companies that make great games and make half the money, ie. Insomniac and naughty dog, and guerilla. I don't feel bad for rockstar. Someone lied or spoke to early about this making up corkage Noire. Granted, ill still play on ps3, but a rockstar exclusive would havebeen the nail in the coffin of 2011.
Like every other game coming out that isn't bioshock, mass effect, battlefield, resistance, skyrim, revelations, and uncharted, they are gonna have to prove themselves as time and money is gonna get short, and the ante has been upped. No one is gonna get away w average anymore. And on top of all that, enter vita and project cafe.
This is one of the few games I truely thought had so much potential. It was rushed to market. The premise was great, the open world was awesome and the ability to wreak havok was what kept me playing. But, I had to make excuses for the graphics, I had to fill in the story gaps w my imagination, and it became far too repetitive even for an open world game. But, if they are serious, I will buy it...after reviews of course. There's too many good games coming out to ever give my money to a co...
I lovevalve and I love this game. They took one man's hard work, building a brilliant mod, and made his dreams come true, and ours as well. I wish more companies had valve's balls and willingness to take risks. Will we see this at E3, no one has talked about it at all.
I'm not so sure. I say keep it in real world LA and use whatever they used for la Noire. Either that or do new Orleans, Prague, or Moscow. The seedy environments that could b created there would be perfect.
Ill b honest. For the first time, myself and most of my friends arenot interested in mw3 anymore. Things have changed and other companies are proving that they are willing to push forward, to go the extra mile to create a better experience. I'm looking at skyrim, u3, & of course b3 as my fps this year...and many, many hardcore gamers are too. For the life of me, i don't understand the infatuation over what has become an average game.
I got no problem, as bungie is going multi platform. They deserve to make money. It doesn't bother me at all because I have confidence that the ps3 would b the lead platform for anything that they make and i will buy it for the ps3. I think its great that Xbox fans get to see how talented these guys really are. It is a little sad that games like uncharted 2 and most likely 3 may go down as one of the top 5 all time best games/franchises but only ps3 owners could enjoy it. I wish they woul...
In a time when everyone is trying to be the best looking game or the one that always runs at 30 fps; in a time all about bigger and better sequels that have managed to hone or perfect their IP; in a time in which many games and their publishers are pushing for annual releases to capitalize on the momentum in order to achieve maximum profitability, irrational games, once again bucks the trend, breaking the mold to release a high budget journey in the vein of an Indie release. I like the compar...
