They could do one thing to show us how serious they r this yr. Release a damn beta. I understand that they r in the unique situation of being one of the few games that can be hurt by a beta, but it would go a long way to both creating a better game and showing us that they r confident with it.
I love mmo's b/c they lengthen the rpg trope. They allow u to feel the weight of your dedication instead of seeing credits role after 100 hrs. (I know the witcher isnt one lol)
Anyway, the Witcher has always been pushing the envelope and now they have the tech to see their vision come to light. I simply cant wait. What I really want though, is end game content similar to an mmo, maybe in the vein of dragons dogma. Interesting multiplayer aspects could be implemented. Not ...
Lol. On day 1 too.
U cant blame ppl...not after ghosts! And now that next gen has surfaced, we definitely expect more.
It looks promising but we will see. Competition will be fierce.
Like what? That it has 5 locations to begin, each bigger than Halo Reach? Its co-op play, strike missions, insane loot drops and customization? Dynamo c public events? Cool classes? End game content with 5 friends? And...the PvP from the creators of Halo?
It isnt what they have shown and talked about that worries me, its living up to it.
Its impossible to know. Initially it was a way for companies to add content post launch, usually multiplayer. Then companies began withholding content to make more money or meet a deadline.
Season passes can be seen as companies planning to withhold content or a company planning on supporting a game afterwards.
Like every other commodity, it depends on quality and quantity and if its worth your money. Irrational gave us two story based dlc that could not hav...
Is it better that u pay $60 for limited content w/ microtransactions? At least we get some of the game w/ psn+. U cant reasonably expect them to give it all away.
So..in the end, come November, CoD will be back on top again?
Wow!! Its the idea of life imitating art imitating life. Do ppl simply love formulas like CoD and WoW more than every other or is it that these games created in us the formula?
Whatever the case, I think that games that reward hard work and highlight the best or most skilled will always reign supreme in the end.
Its funny how instead of paying for something that incentivises ppl to buy it, it has become expected on xbox. Though didnt the last couple CoDs sell better on Sony consoles regardless.
Also, didnt recent dlc come out much closer together than usual?
Its true. Of u could watch Game of thrones on cbs, u wouldnt pay for HBO. Its not like all the hype and publicity would make someone go out and buy an xbone.
The only way it works is if they both get a cut...regardless of where its watched.
My guess is that it is a souls spiritual successor. Not demon souls 2 but something new in the same vein.
Its a souls successor and thus will not be released this yr. Also, they will want as many consoles sold at xmas etc.
And the sad thing is that they had it in their hands. And then one day someone noticed that more ppl used their 360 for Netflix than anything else...and that was it. Add to it that MS has another division that makes OS' s for PC's, and it was inevitable that the xbone would be an entertainment device first and foremost.
Or lack of
He is missing out on 14 right now. And I will definitely giv them a chance on 15. I mean c'mon, they must get the hint by now.
I agree. Mmo's have a lot of negative baggage attached. But also bring many loyal, hardcore players that will spend a ton of time and money on it.
Its funny how they mention the tower as a gathering place. Before its launched, ppl will call for bases etc. Lol! I just think that there must be a way to bridge the gap. It is obviously an mmo and unless they r gonna be rolling out free content every week, it will entail a grind of some sort...even if it is running strike miss...
They will both continually update. Its just important to get the basics out there. Anyone that does it professionally or semi professionally will use the usb and their pc.
It would be smart though to add mouse and keyboard support as they continue to update it. Maybe offer a professional version for a cheap price, for psn+ members or to sell the console to serious editors.
Camt wait to see where the political morality falls on this one. It is interesting though. But no one buys this to follow around the guy with the words follow above his head. We will have to wait to see what the multiplayer has done.
Yeah, its one of the biggest if we all, like bungie, keep pretending that it isnt an mmo.
Embrace it. Ppl have been waiting for a great mmofpsrpg for a long time. This could be very successful. Bungie is about to find out just how relentless the mmo business is.
I for one cant wait.
He could have summed this up in one sentence.
In order for Microsoft to win they simply need to do exactly what Sony has already done with the PS4!
Wow!!
