The games where there actually IS a noticeable difference weren't even taken into consideration. The author even says there's a big difference between the Madden 08 and the Orange Box versions. I'm sure some games run a lot better on ps3, too.
The more I think about it, the more rubbish this article is.
It would make sense if the whole thing wasn't just subjective. The controllers are pretty much the same (save the stick placement), so I don't see what the big deal is.

I just hope it lives up to all the hype. They keep pushing release dates back, and I keep caring a little less and less. Sure, I'll download it. Sure I'll play it and create my apartment and everything else, but how long until I get tired of walking around my virtual apartment? I guess people in second life never get tired of it.

Capcom must just suck. There are several games with much better graphics with little to know installs. Let alone 20 minute installs. There's no "spin" on this, it's just fact that some people don't want to have to upgrade their HDDs just to play capcom games.
I shouldn't have to upgrade my 40gb HDD just to play capcom games. This means I'll have to start deleting and reinstalling files whenever I want to switch out games. That's two capcom games taking up 1/4 of my HDD (more considering the ps3 os takes up a big chunk as well).

It was the reason my wife and I bought revenge. Now not only can we not do crash mode, we also can't even play the game together. I'm pretty sure they took out all local multiplayer. Why they'd do that, I have no idea. No crash mode + no local multiplayer = no buy for me.

Sure, this is stupid as sin, but that's the way it is. M$ wants you to have one gamertag and one console and one copy of everything. When people try to recover their gamertag all over the place, stuff starts screwing up.
Now, then again, I can have my psn name on my ps3 plus whoever else's I want. Their system is probably a little TOO open if you catch my drift.
