The enemy AI is fine, infact it looks pretty much improved. By the way the demo wasn't being played on God mode. The demos are usually running on easier setting so that the gamer can go through the game quickly so others can have a chance.
Mate nobody said that the gameplay is boring, its just that visual are soo good that everything else around it, doesn't feel upto the par. The thing is graphics aren't everything. The game looks stunningly beautiful. It looks soo good that people are having troubling blinking there eyes while watching the footage. So when you have such a stunning visual quality in game, you automatically expect a stunning gameplay features set. This game was at the Top of my list for 2008 and its still at top when it comes out in Feb 2009. All I am saying is as mind blowing as the graphics and the animation system, the innovative gameplay feature should be jaw dropping as well. Like I know I expect a little too much from this game, but then this game deserves to be hyped and expected from. Hopefully there will be an extensive online part.

I agree with you. Gaming Journalism has become alot biased and anti-sony lately. Hopefully the trend will change this year, as ps3 established itself as the proper current-gen console.

That looked awesome. I mean its a multiplayer game and look how much detailed are the character models and the lightening. Now thats what we call a proper jump from 1st gen game to 3rd gen.
If you ask me they are still being mistreated by 3rd party developers who developed inferior ports and then put the while blame on PS3. PS3 was no doubt expensive and was out of reach of many gamers. But it came with a future proof guarantee, now the price is right, the games are here and the bluray is the standard. So lets hope Sony now capitalizes on this set and produces some amazing games.

Thats the thing, I am not a graphics lover, they should be good, not ugly and I am fine with it, this game isn't ugly it looks fine, but the gameplay that I played was like everyother shooter. If they weren't focusing on the graphics, they should have some innovative gameplay features and the story, I really didn't like the one liners. I was pretty hopeful for this game but now, I think I will just pass.

Mate, Gears of War 1 was the first game I played on my 360, I own both consoles;). So don't be childish. I wasn't the only one who suffered from lag during online matches. You really need to grow up.
PS3 is just less than a million away from 360 consoles count.Plus as I said PS3 will and has moved a lot more consoles than 360 did;) But it did prove me wrong as PS3 GTA4 sold more than the 360 counterpart.
Well why don't we wait till June 13th, by then we will have singleplayer footage of all three Resistance 2, Killzone 2 and Gears of War 2. From what I have read in the news, all three games are focusing on scale and graphics. Resistance 2 multiplayer will definitely better than Gears 2, why because R1 and so far from the previews R2 has no or minimal lag online. While Gears 4x4 battles were laggy as hell.
Yeah, I agree with you mate. Sony really needs to fix there PR issues. Seriously they showed a tech demo of Getaway 3 at GDC 2006, now we are hearing that this game will go in preproduction sometime in fall. Why do you even bother showing game so early when you don't want to show it again for the next 2 years. Look at Killzone 2. Not really mate, I think Sony has the strongest lineup out of all 3. They have the first party exclusive that are going to be huge. Resistance 2 will be great based on Insomniac's track record. MGS4 well, I don't think its worth mentioning how great it will be. Then we have the cult hit Socom. LBP the innovating game and Agency that will hopefully be a great Online action MMO. I think PS3 got a blow when, it lost exclusive like Assassin's Creed and DMC4 to xbox360. Imagine if last year PS3 had a exclusive like Assassin's Creed in its pocket?

Actually at E3 2007 and at leipzig, GG developer or manager who ever he was said that the game will release in 2008, and a multiplayer beta will happen in the near future. So it is kinda delayed, but again this game didn't had a placed in the already stuffed fall of 2008. Feb. 2009 is the sweet spot;)
If they had released killzone 2 in sept. it would have eaten there socom market share or the other way around and if they had released it after sept. same thing would have happened with resistance 2. Now when there is alot more breathing space in nov. and people have played the hell out of r2 and socom, they will release killzone2 and I will be one happy gamer.
The first game was jaw dropping and hopefully this game will exceed the first one, not only in terms of graphics but also in terms of gameplay. (16 tracks + 16 player multiplayer + splitscreen) x superb graphics = AWESOMENESS:D
