Thats what I am getting at. Was pretty burned by the Wii U hence not getting the Switch.
Switch first year is not really better or worse, it is classic Nintendo. Their best game is releasing on their old console as well.
New Mario looks legit, I will give you that.
I have said though before, a Monster Hunter on the Switch woulda been day one for me.
I wouldn't be surprised from Nintendo. N64 expansion pack? New 3DS? It's not like they have done this before. Not to mention both MS and Sony both are doing mid-gen upgrades. So I ask "why wouldn't they?" They once again risk getting left behind since 4K tv's are becoming mainstream.
Won't be anytime soon though, I would guess late next year. Although Nintendo don't give a shit about alienating their base so I guess it could release ...
This needs to happen. Loved Ninja Garden (OG Xbox and then Sigma on PS3) and it was so fresh back then. I can't even think of a game since then with the speed, crisp controls, and the fair but punishing difficulty (Bloodborne being the closest). Hopefully Nioh is a success and drives them to do this. I will be doing my part and getting it day one!
Looks great but should be a launch title.
For $299, this should've included the Pro Controller. Once you add that in, this thing is competing with a PS4 Pro.....ouch!
I just wanted to play Monster Hunter on a big screen......*sigh*
Anyone who likes First Person Shooters.
Wow....what a sad list (except for Horizon 3)
With all the games PS4 has coming in the next couple months, looks like the One will be collecting dust......so excited for Nier and Nioh.
Get your shit together Microsoft.
I just finished this last night on my Pro. Awesome showcase for the Pro's capabilities.
Also a very good Zelda clone game as well.
I agree with you Mighty.
LandCruiser just has a mental complex that requires their favorite peice of plastic to sell better to make him/her feel better.
Really makes gamers look like a bunch of screaming mouth-breathers and we wonder why we get no respect as fans in the entertainment industry.
Read the article people. I know it's Gamingbolt but the point they make is that MS is turning around their focus to the gamer and making decisions that are benefiting gamers in general. They really need to expand their catalog of games and more steadily release stuff but you can't argue that the system they have today isn't far better than what they started with.
The author clearly noted the X1 isn't going to catch the PS4 which is fine. The article isn&...
Competition breeds excellence. This is the ONLY point that should matter to anyone.
FYI....HDR is broken for this when playing on a Vizio P-series TV. The image becomes washed out and terrible.
This is also an issue using HDR functionality of the Xbox One S.
There is a firmware fix for the Vizios supposedly releasing in November.
Source: Owner and it is in the P-series owners forum on AVS.
One of my fondest N64 games. A stepping stone to the what made GTA a huge series. Would love to see a return to this franchise as it had some excellent concepts but awful controls and graphics. Not sure who actually owns the IP though.
@hello
Only idiocy here is coming from you and anyone agreeing with you for taking my phrase literally.
It's called Figure of Speech. Look it up.
@crimzon
Got anything to back up your statement or are you one of those people waiting in line to take the job of somone else for less pay and more hours and thus rewarding these corporations for poor expectations of their workforce?
People with your mindset are exactly the reason workers rights are taking nose dives left and right. Comments like yours drive me absolutley nuts.
There should be no reason why people cannot work a satisfying job AND have a fullfilling private life.
Telling folks to deal with it or move on because somone else is willing to sell their soul is bullshit that only gives the corporations more power to pay people less and less while forcing more and more hours...
Haha, totally this. Hypocrisy on this site is amazing, isn't it?
I have my PS4P pre-ordered and am looking forward to it because I just purchased a nice 4KHDR TV. But let's be real here, there are no real details or promises on how future or older games are going to run or look.
No one should assume anything at this time regarding the Pro or Scorpio and their capabilities and if third parties are even going o take full advantage of the better specs. Remember, they still have to make sure the games are good with the lowest common de...
C'mon, they haven't won anything this gen. I believe they have turned things around and it is a much better product than when it first launched, however, a couple things stand out why it hasn't won much of anything this gen.
-Lost a large chunk of it's player base and still has negative stigma to it.
-Weaker console with generally lesser ports of games
-Release windows for most 1st party games is too centered around the holidays.
-Still lac...
Perhaps I am ill-informed but wasn't the switch to x86 architecture technically supposed to "end console generations"?
I feel like that was all the talk at the beginning of this generation seeing as the PC architecture is supposed to be simple to port games to other hardware configurations. Yes, one of the inherent problems with PC gaming is that you can't optimize for all the possible PC configurations out there but with the current console lineup now an...
