If I can get it free, I'll play this game. If not, then i'm not worried. I got other games that are 10x more intriguing.
Yea, I completely agree with Half Life 2. There is no way that game was not the most anticipate game of 2004 and the decade. It is probably the best FPS game made to date
Without the presence of Half Life 2 then Resident Evil 4 is a good choice. I slept only 2 hours while going through RE4 and then played countless hours enjoying the other modes!!
I would really love to know if this is a gameplay patch and if they are nerfing snipers in this one and how exactly they are nerfing snipers because it could completely ruin the experience of that game.
The spawn points and scorechain system is what is broken (especially with regards to snipers).
Also, hardcore mode is quite lame and there is a complete lack to have private matches or just play with a few buddies. Teamwork elements are lacking in the game <...
didn't eternal darkness have that sanity meter or something. Loved that game but it was not really scary, just alittle freaky at times.
Amnesia, I believe has a sanity element to it if you don't hide from enemies well enough.
I've had zero problems so far and I'm loving the added additions/new interface. Its better than the 360 netflix app
Wow, I can't believe you have not finished those games. Windwaker is the only one on your list I didn't finish but I let my friend play through it and I watched/helped him.
I've been going back and buying alot of PS2 games to play, since there were such an enormous amount of games for that system to keep up with and I was more of a nintendo person growing up.
Right on. I love my PS3. With the latest update to Netflix on the PS3 and the complete bargain that is PS+, I'll find myself using my 360 much less. I only really use it for Halo, and other FPS games like Bad Company 2 and the occasional COD because most of my friends play those games or only own a 360.
Although, it is still kind of sad that some games are still just being ported to the PS3 (i.e. Bayonetta)
Multiplayer is the reason I end up not finishing games. I slowly go back to older games I own and haven't finished to play through them. Also, I end up buying alot of older games that just didn't interest me as much when I was younger. But most of the big AAA titles, I'll finish them. There honestly is not enough time to enjoy multiplayer intensive games and try to play through games that have long campaigns, all while working full time.
I'm still working ...
We won't find out if we actually got in until Oct 25th when they send out the emails, RIGHT??. It would have been much nicer if they had 10,000 for US and Canada.
This is something they could have released with the game, I believe in some PC promotion this game mode was available.
Anyhow, free stuff is good. This is one way to win people to your game or keep them playing. Now hopefully EA/DICE will fix some of the glaring issues with MOH MP
Site is down, I always get regular version anyhow. But this game is going to be ridiculously sick!! Can't wait
I'm already loving the disc free Netflix on PS3. Better than Xbox Netflix, the death (decreased use) of the Xbox has, as of this morning, happened in my house. This plus all the exclusive PS3 games next year. KZ3, LBP2 and GT5 alone are going to be insane!! I'm excited that companies are really investing more time and effort in the PS3. Now if we can just stop developers use of the UE3 on the PS3 and i'll be happy. God I sound like a PS3 fanboy. haha
LOL a...
Duke Nukem, Starcraft 2 and........ Too Human are a must for this list. All those games have been in and/or out of development for like 10 years or something. The last guardian has only been in development for what, maybe 4-5 years, if that. Basically since the PS3 dev kits were released, which is the same amount of time for GT5.
It had zero hype because EA tried to make it compete with Halo Reach and COD BO. If they gave the game another six months of development, it might have received hype. It was more the fanfare of the politically correct media that made a big deal about the game because of the whole Taliban issue, which in my mind was nothing of concern.
anyhow, the game is fun. If they tweak and fix up the MP somewhat, it will be a really really good game. I already decided not to get Black...
Ahhh yes, Amnesia....I've been meaning to play this game. I can't wait to play this.
Yea, Siren Blood Curse is amazing. It is right up there with the Fatal Frame trilogy.
haha, well I think that is the least of Obama's worries. Slamming socialism down our throats is his problem. With respect to the military, you'd have to impeach pretty much all our presidents since the late 70's and early 80's with regards to Afghanistan and even earlier with regards to the middle east. Its a sad story of pseudo American Imperialism
yea, MoH was sold as a more tactical and realistic FPS but it does not really hit that idea straight on. It is very hit and miss. Especially when it is almost next to impossible to have teamwork in the game, people end up playing it like COD and it fails. MOH is more or less a poor mans version of BC2.
It does succeed in outdoing COD in gameplay though. COD is old and outdated. its pretty much the same since COD4.
hahaha.......Hilarious. COD doesn't even touch Bad Company 2 and I'm not going to even include other titles like Halo or Killzone. MOH is a great FPS experience but hopefully some of the MP issues will be addressed but I can tell you it is not the debacle and "more of the same" gameplay that the COD series presents. COD has grown old.
As for MOH, I think EA has stretched DICE way too thin. DICE just doesn't seem to get the creativity thing down right...
haha, I'm not buying that game (or at least at $60) because I'm still angered they did not continue the Heavenly Sword storyline and stick with PS3.
I guess the sales #'s show that Ninja Theory chose the wrong path, especially since Sony was giving them alot of support.
