um..well this is the present n not the past. everybody i talk to about rainbow mentions the third person cover and how they like that gameplay element over cod.. soo now.. its part of their identity. similar to how killzone 1 didnt have the first person cover but now it does.. its become part of its identity that sets it apart from other shooters
and as far as UC and Gears. well those arent primarily first person shooters with a third person cover system right? yea u fail
thats what cod is for. rainbow has its own identity and thats partially due to the third person cover mode.
now with that said. im happy another rainbow is in development.. i just wish it has the old system where i can send my guys to take the route i want em to take.. that was pretty fun

i believe this happened with ff13 as well. microsoft paid square $$ to bring it to the 360 as well as offering to cover the complete cost of the court fee for breach of exclusivity .

This has to be one of the most beautiful games to have ever been released.. The feeling that is given off while playing the game. like JESUS ! Its a weird graceful and peaceful sensation while also feeling a sense of loneliness. on top of that also making the player feel so tiny in a vast open world. ITS PURELY FANTASTIC !!!!!

MGS is not owned by Sony but everybody knows Kojima is a self professed ps3 fanboy just like CliffyB is a self professed 360 fanboy and they prefer their titles on a certain system.
everybody knows no matter what happens the Sony system will receive more love from Kojima than the other systems.
and Kojima pretty much designed metal gear so when you think of MGS you think of playstation [otacon convo. psychomantis. and the many different playstation systems ...
what you dont realize is that sony are literally rebuilding there online infrastructure as fast as they can. working 24/7. in a couple days to prevent this again.. something that usually takes months.
all they are asking is to wait a couple more days a possibly a week or 2. good things may come out of this :D

yaa..and for fucks sake.. its coming soon..ps2 launched in 2000. ps3 launched in 2006 ...see where im going? ps2 has an 11 year life span as of current. but sony didnt wait till the 10th year to release a ps3.
so if ps4 was released this year. ps3 would still be around for another 4 5 6 years. makes sense if u look back at last gens.. sony has awesome life support for its systems
