Or just use them till they start to get wonky and switch out the sticks. Its not the hardest thing to do
I'm perfectly fine with Microsoft exiting the hardware industry and from then on the big 3 considered to be Nintendo Sony and Valve.
But why? Just reboot it or make a new IP. What about a new entry in the same universe. Stay confused at the people who want to play games they already experienced.
So I think Sony copying Nintendo and just slowly dripping content in these small bs shows is simply the new way they'll do things rather than go back to the high impact production showcases that used to rock the industry. Some executive is dead set on this being exactly what gamers want. And it's frustrating.
@ mjchitown Dodi and Fitgirl have released repacks of the game posted since Sep 2nd. Its not an argument or discussion. And I know this because i have it installed right now. Wanted to try it out. And no i wont link to such downloads.
Hate discord. It fragments the players to where engagement is. Why should i use a separate application to communicate when the in game options are sufficient. Not to mention if you play on different teams the problem of ghosting and revealing whats happening on the opposite teams infuriates me. I rather engage in public lobbies where I can interact with everyone. Even if discord is ever better an option of communicating, why would I participate in further fragmenting the player base.
Crazy thing is that they've been eerily quiet on the Sony front. Like to the point where the let loose a few announcements just to tide us over. But we still have no idea the mountain of stuff that's on the way and being worked on. And to think its been this way since a large majority of gamers complained a few years ago, that Sony showed too much in advanced. And since then, they've held on super tight. Its never been this way.
I'm definitely a fan of CGI trailers. It help sets the mood and tone and atmosphere in a way. But it should definitely be paired with gameplay for sure. Without it, it is almost pointless. Almost to how Spiderman was shown off. CGI and gamplay mixed in together.
My problem was that Sony is sitting on some serious firepower and have just came out and said that statements need to be made but well.. where was that statement because this is not how you make one. Coming out...
@MIDGETonSTILTS17 His cover mechanics? He used cover mechanics that were implemented well before gears in games like Time Crisis, Kill Switch, WinBack, or Soldier of Fortune. Nothing was new about it

They can't but they can but they can't. Simply cause the world right now the way its set up is that a shit ton of MS money flows through the London. It is one of the few financial hubs in the world. And it isn't exactly favorable to just up and leave the UK. So as small as the territory is they end to carry a good deal of weight. But MS being MS I'm sure they'll try to weasel something through. And with the CMA doing this I'm sure they'll try to counter every move....
You do know that that's blatantly false and you're just spreading misinformation right? There's a such thing as hostile takeovers. Not to mention, even in the situation that a company wants to be bought by a specific somebody, it doesn't mean it has to go through either.
Ubisoft fought one successfully for now.
Microsoft had a hostile takeover bid previously trying to acquire Yahoo in 2008.
AT&t had some as well.
Oracle had ...
Its an almost 4:1 ratio now. Beginning of the summer lull. Imagine the craziness you'll see come holidays. 6:1 maybe. Idk. Crazy for sure.
They get the rights to do whatever they want with the titles they have yes, but they must abide by existing contracts. Which certainly get made early in a games development. That said, we have no real insight into when exactly into that stage papers managed to get signed and whether this contract to be on playstation even existed. And if they did, has MS paid the fees to break said contract. Keep in mind the game was in development for years before the acquisition. So one can only speculate a...
@Nintentional Oh ok. That's cool. I like new games and new IP that provide new experiences.
That rain is horrendous
Activision wanting to be bought doesn't mean anything. It certainly hasn't decided any mergers in the past. As it still has to pass the review process. And there have been many mergers and acquisitions that have failed even if they "wanted to be bought." ie. Tmobile to AT&T or Arm to Nvidia.
Glen Schofield said it is in an interview. He mentioned that the difficulty will definitely follow in the same footsteps as Elden ring/souls games because that just where things are headed. So if you don't like those types of games it's probably not for you. It would be headache inducing. Otherwise you'll enjoy it
So what does make it special? What is the heart of it? Never played it. So please fill me in
Instant no to me. Almost every game now that has come out with their main color palette being bluish purple pink. Legit walking the fence and trying to keep gender neutral colors, legitimately has been a train wreck. Prove me wrong. It's just an observation. Not to mention it just looks bad. But for the palette, go back and judge every game with that palette in recent times. Id like to hear games that went against that trend.
