Hes not arguing price hes arguing sheer power
steam lets me play offline and lets me install games as many times as i want on top of which it is heavily rumored that valve is checking out ways to properly implement game sharing.
The console market cant support that much. Dont know how old are you, but that is one big factor to the videogame crash of 83. The was a severe over saturation of 13 consoles on the market at the same time as well as a slew of shitty games that didnt help consumer confidence at the time. The market was was to big to support itself.
And its different with pcs cause other than hardware everybody is getting the same services. That wont happen with consoles simply cause you would...
Actually the more exclusives the better. It allows for multiple systems to be on the market. If there's no exclusives and everybody is playing the same games then there should just be one console. It would make multiple consoles redundant.
I would rather have full exclusives tho rather than that timed bs that kills consumer interest by the time it actually comes out.
Cause a game only requires ram right?
It will need more than 3 ps4s to run 3 instances of crysis 3 on high settings. The gpu and cpu inside it isnt exactly an 800 pound gorilla
And you are also getting Drive Club for free. so think of it as you are buying Drive Club with 10 bucks off and a year of plus free included. For me that was gunna buy Drive Club anyways its an awesome deal. I have plus already anyways
@badz149
You're kinda off
360 uses 512 ddr3 ram
ps3 uses 256 xdr main ram + 256 gddr3 vram
You cant have that. Apple can attack anybody who uses rounded corners. So having it on ps4 would be impossible :) :)_
Fck that. What good is the xbone to me if i cant get to play on deployment. There is tons of down time there and constant tension that usually gets relieved by playing videogames
If you wanna try something user friendly. Try either Ubuntu or Linux Mint. A bit of a learning curve but well worth it if you have the slightest craving to learn.
Super computers arent gaming machines. They are number crunchers and render farms. I was simply pointing out that they are better in every way making consoles already obsolete. If you look at a base model of the characters in metro on pc you will see high polygon models. Not even taking into consideration mods that make the game look exceptionally better and realistic. Take that to something years from now and im sure it still wont pass the fidelity of that. maybe get close but still wont pas...
When i was talking about Intel I was specifically talking about the cpu portion.
But who said it HAS to be an SoC? Seems like you think im specifically talking about SoC's And im not. Im talking component vs component. Intel mops the floor with anything Amd can put out. and they still could've went AMD for gpu. Cause thats the only thing AMD is halfway competitive in. But just like Nvidia said its a low end cpu and midranged gpu.. And its gunna be weaaak. Only benefit...
Not really its most likely cause of the price negotiations. Especially since AMD is in a dire position to pick up anything they can. Big companies can get a little more leverage there. Nvidia tends to price their products at a higher price point. Which im sure is the main reason. Especially since they already got fucked by Nvidia.
Either way Tegra is trash just like the bs low powered mobile cpu inside the ps4. Both mobile cpus. Actually tegra 5 and 6 are looking quite nice....
Drivers argue otherwise
They were obsolete before they got released actually. Play metro last light on pc. It'll speak for itself well into next gen and see how obselete they already are
Not defending Sony but how did they fall exactly?
If you gauge Sony by numbers and price point then they still haven't made their stride yet. The ps2 sold the bulk of its sales at the 200 dollar price point and below. A price that has yet to grace the ps3. The price is the only thing that has stopped them from doing ps2 numbers and even then Sony is still putting up numbers
The bs tablet/notebook amd 8core processor in it. Yes its meh. I rather they have went with a first gen i5 that was out like 4 years at the least. It would give them miles more to work with.
Ima buy it anyways its just screams weak tho
But if nobody wants to use it. Then gyarados will be nothing but an after thought. Right now it's a paper weight. devs are saying that... And unless Nintendo puts in some serious work then there's an inevitable death. And I'm sure they know that. I'll wait till e3. Still won't buy it tho
Its not a fact its an opinion. I personally hate 2 separate screens for gaming. And I dont see the point besides having the second screen act as a map or inventory. Even still I cant see any type of usefulness to me because I do not want to stop looking at a tv to look down to look back up when everything can happen on the tv with no interruption to the immersion
