@rommy
According to that link the game only has a 44% completion rate... over half the owners didn't care to actually finish it and under 2% cared to 100% the game.
@kribwalker
And have you noticed how gamefly has started adopting game streaming and other digital programs?
You either move with the times or go out of business
@Sampson
"investing in a game using the best developers and giving them the opportunity to be creative and supporting them any way you can."
Pretty sure Sea of Thieves is getting plenty of love, also the content you saw in the beta (and obviously didn't play) was only about 20% of the final games content.
State of Decay 2 is getting support, you bet Ori 2 is seeing the red carpet. Hell, even Crackdown 3 is still being supp...
"(Which look low quality)"
Lol gtfo of here with that.
Quality doesn't mean every game needs to have realistic graphics and be a 3rd person action adventure game.
You do realize there is no online requirement to play GamePass or digital games besides the initial downloading process, right?
Where did this information come from that Xbox is in 3rd place? Do you guys seriously believe that Switch has already sold over 35mil units?
Yes, because everything Sony has done is in thought of their fan base consumer and not about money /s.
I can pay for PSNow and get tons of ps3 games and some ps4 games instead of buying them at a retailer. But no one cares about that. As soon as MS decides to do the same thing, but also add their own new games at launch, all of the sudden there is some big worry about retailers and the used market...
The reviews will more than likely also be all over the board.
Well, the majority of my time with rando's was a great time. Also there is a great feature on Xbox called Groups and the Sea of Thieves page is filled with people looking for others to play with. You can easily find a group that has a similar play style as yourself. There are people looking to just fight other groups and loot, there are others who want to focus more on sailing and finding treasure etc.
Why is a SP campaign necessary? Its not what the game is about.
Oh shoot I forgot about all those other historical pirates that sailed and looted all by themselves. /s
Most of my time with the insider program and alpha has been connecting with rando's and the majority of the time it was always a great experience. if you don't want to rely on matchmaking, you have your own friends list or you can look on the Xbox Groups page to find people who want to play like you, no greifing or don't want to focus on PvP or ONLY want to focus on PvP and raiding other groups.
Xbox Groups is a wonderful tool to connect people.
Well, before there was no sniper, or scope, or being able to launch out of canons etc. who's to say they don't have more things hidden that will effect your mechanics? The sailing is on point, so I don't see any changes there besides maybe some balance tweaking, the map mechanics and such are fine. Depending on what they do with the Kraken news we could be seeing a server boss like in other MMO type games.
There is plenty of things they could be not adding that ...
Well I think once there is more content to keep people going.. there was that tease of a Kraken and such. It doesn't need to be "deep" to be fun, there just needs to be a fun gameplay hook. PUBG isn't "deep", but it has a fun gameplay hook.
@Blastoise
Then you must have not watched E3...
Anyway, there is a lot of fun and diverse games in that list that aren't all just 3rd person story driven action adventure games.
@Jukins
I'm an adult with kids and I'd rather GoW go back to how it was before...
Monster Hunt Worlds?
@Foxtrot
Well at least we will get a couple good games from Respawn before they decline. EA was in control of them when they made TF2 and that was fine. Either way, I'm excited to see what they'll do. No need to torch them before we even see what the game is.
Dead and replaced with a Star Wars game.
@Anubis
It makes me laugh that you guys still think I'm an EA employee.
Anyway, Respawn was controlled by EA when they made TF2 in which they added a campaign to (when the first didn't have one) and were very modest about their MT model. Also, pretty sure EA is Publishing A Way Out and Fe... which are both story driven games not focused on any competitive MP or MT's/Lootboxes. Keep hating tho and keep saying "you guys" like I'm a...
Considering Destiny 2 was a bust and my brothers and friends have stoped playing it. This will be our next Friday night co-op game. It's so much fun with a group of friends.
