I'll be busy with Sea of Thieves, God of War 4 and State of Decay 2 in the mean time tho.
@apocalypse
No, it's more like if it wasn't for some white guys and Pong we may be playing something else in our free time...
@goldby
The weapons part doesn't matter when we are talking narrative similarities.
Also, Kratos may have to decide to save his kid or the world at the end, we will see.
Grumpy old guy might be protecting his son who is a key to something also... he does have Norse magical powers and it seems lime the Norse gods want to capture the kid for some reason... again, we will see.
But there are a lot of similarities here...
Let's just go down the check list shall we?
1. Grumpy bearded old guy who lost his family - check
2. Grumpy bearded old guy has to take care of new child - check
3. Grumpy bearded old guy and child go through a journey together - check
4. Grumpy bearded old guy imparts his wisdom and knowledge and is guarded at first to reveal his past, but eventually warms up. - check
5. Grumpy bearded old guy routinely finds himself having to go ove...
It's not just a good narrative... if you can't see the parallels of the two then you're just being blind or stubborn.
It won't be for the better or worse... it'll just be different, but also good in its own way.
@aspiringprogenji
Are you calling the OG GoW games braindead hack n slash?
@Big Game Hunter
Precisely.
@Avengers
I said those games because they do feature MT's.
@CP
So comparing them to other games with MT's is somehow making a point?
I responded to "no microtransactions for the players"
and your comeback is "Yeah well they aren't worse than so and so"...
Ooookay.
No Microtransactions? You may want to double check that.
Are you saying UC4 and TLoU aren't great games?
It's not that they don't do them, but yes they do them less than others right now for sure.
Seems so, but with 10x+ the gameplay time.
If you have Xbox or PC, grab gamepass and play the first game and see how you like it. It's only $10 for a month.
PUBG late last year rolling into the beginning of 2018, Sea of Thieves in March. State of Decay 2 in May, hopefully Crackdown 3, Ashen and Ori 2 for the Holidays.
NVM
Detroit? Yeahhh I doubt it, plus they're 2 COMPLETELY different types of games, well, if you can even call Detroit a "game" more like a movie.
Well this is only the second game, but yes the first game debuted as an xbox live arcade game for only $29.99 as well.
Truth. It's amazing how time flies as an adult with daily responsibilities :/
