As I'm sure you guessed I didn't even read the article... I guess the author is a girl so excuse me for saying "he" so many times. But my response isn't to back up this stupid article, it's because I don't necessarily agree with a few of your arguments.
Now I'm not the author and I'm not one to jump in the middle of racial conversations but...
It seems like you're advocating that nobody but PoC can bring up a racial issue or try and help. I realize that in this case the author is an entire level above white knighting and making an issue where there isnt one. But to say "Who appointed you as spokes person for the people of colour." And a few other things you said seems like anybody who isn't a PoC ...
Hence why I always end up buying every damn console available... If there is a game that I want to play... I play it. I don't care what platform its on.
Way more polish for sure, but I have been switching between both games regularly considering... they're two completely different styles of games that fill certain needs.
Well, to be fair... Monster Hunter World is a hellavuh lot less Japanese than the likes of Persona. it still have its Japanese feel, especially with the Palicoes, but it's not anime and doesn't have penis monsters and shit haha

Well for one, not having a jump button means there will be a lack of air combos, and there were some great juggling combos in the old games. Also maybe toned down on the platforming sections as well.
I don't think it will ruin the game, but it is a notable absence.

The first one was pretty bad, but I enjoyed the second despite its flaws. A bit rough around the edges, but it was a pretty decent RPG.
Not bad at all for a closed beta. Shows very strong interest.
If reports from the dev are to be believed, the beta is only around 20% of the final game. We already know a few things not in the beta from the data miners.
