DICE isn't really to blame here. EA is.
Sucks that DICE is getting tossed in between this mess of a hissy fit when they created a very fun, content filled, beautiful looking and sounding game.
Depending on your thoughts about loot boxes the game itself is very fun, it's well done and looks beautiful. Literally the only thing to complain about are the MT's/Loot boxes
Edit: also I'd complain that they do put a daily cap on credits in the arcade mode. That is kinda dumb and needs to be changed.
They do include star cards that will give you a slight edge. Nothing terrible though and nothing you can't get from playing it normally.

I love gaming, its my favorite hobby. I just don't get caught up in the bullshit and complain about something that doesn't effect me personally. I don't care if little jr. buys a couple lootboxes and gets 2 star cards I don't have a couple days before me. Oh no that is going to ruin my entire life... you guys are freaking crazy.
So why aren't we up in arms about all the other games that include them? Why haven't we protested Rainbow Six: Siege for making you grind or pay for more operators? Why aren't we boycotting ACO for being able to buy loot chest? Where is the reddit page about Wardor's Loot boxes? What about the other countless games that have included Micro Transactions?
This is why I'm laughing. You guys are acting like this is the first time a game has every had MT'...
Game looks fantastic and I can't wait to play it on my 1X!

Bruh, they did that because the campaign reward was to unlock Iden, the main character, who was priced at 20k and now after the update is only 5k. So the reward scaled down to what she is worth after the update.
I didn't bother ever buying the first game after the beta. I bought this game because it actually has way more content, classes that work together, a SP campaign etc.

No they didn't. The only reward they cut 75% was what you earn after the the campaign and that's because they give you enough credits to buy Iden the main character from the campaign. She was 20k before, but now only 5k so they lowered that reward to 5k to keep with her unlock price. Match rewards have all stayed the same and I can confirm that.
