Loot boxes will always win.

But the game still made #1 in revenue, which means if they sold less physical copies then they must have sold a shit ton of MT's before they were removed.

And #1 in revenue.

The game still made #1 in revenue. Less physical sales but more revenue = people still bought a shit ton of MT's before they were removed.

It only beat it in physical sales though... Battlefront 2 still made #1 in revenue. Less sales, but more revenue... hmmm

"As a result, Battlefront II only made No.2 (in units, it did make No.1 in terms of revenue). It failed to knock Call of Duty: WWII off its perch, which is still performing very well and is about to hit a major sales milestone after just three weeks. Indeed, it took last year's Infinite Warfare 7 weeks to achieved what WWII has done in just three."

This title is super misleading... the game still made #1 in total revenue, just #2 in physical sales. So that mea...

Looks fantastic! Can't wait

"It is also good to note that Star Cards that come from loot boxes are tied to your rank. If you are under level 10, where you can’t craft level 2 cards, you will only receive level 1 cards from the loot boxes. This helps balance these cards to where you can’t just farm loot boxes and get a level 3 card before anyone else. It’s also worth noting that you can only get a level 4 card by crafting. "

So a brand new player isn't able to just come in and buy a bunch...

I don't blame the developers for a lot of these corporate decisions. The developers put their hard work, sweat and tears into these games.

I remember when I was young and I would be learning a hard game and it would take me many many tries to beat it. I'm talking contra, ninja Gaiden, battle toads. That was a different kind of grind, but still a grind in it's own rights. I think games now are generally easier, but now use progression grinding to keep you playing longer.

I have been enjoying the game, thank you.

And I know plenty of other big star wars fans who are having a blast and not caught up in all the politics.

It's only a win of they actually make changes to the system. They said they are taking them down while they reevaluate the system.

So if they actually make changes to it, win. When they eventually do bring them back and nothing has changed then you lost.

Game looks fantastic, can't wait to get plugged into skyrim!

Wow, FINALLY a truthful and realistic look at the system at hand. Not full of blind hate and bullshit. Good work.

3003d ago 0 agree12 disagreeView comment

Well, in some people's eyes the game is easily worth that much.

3003d ago 0 agree1 disagreeView comment

But UC series since UC3 and TLoU both have MT's tho...

That's everyone

3003d ago 4 agree20 disagreeView comment

So that we all have to pay an additional $20? Nah I'll stick with optional MT's and let the other people pay for my content

3003d ago 2 agree2 disagreeView comment

Jeez... all I said is the game will be fine regardless of this backlash... which is true.

So far the grind isn't bad right now, plus I realize like in most any other massive game or MP game I'm not going to collect EVERYTHING. If I don't get a handful of star cards for a couple classes i don't even play... it's not going to break my heart.
