Shhhh lets not make a fuss because we have to focus our hate only on EA and Battlefront 2.
The game is very solid with plenty of content. Just got a very bad rap because of the progression system and the massive bandwagon hate. EA/Dice gets assaulted while Activision/Sledge Hammer are off scot-free doing the same thing with WWII. Star Citizen can sell ships for thousands and charge you for a 4x4 storage space, but lets not say anything about that. No, EA/Dice/Battlefront 2 is the only devil...
Before it was pretty much just cosmetic, but now the loot boxes contain full weapons and weapon mods as well as XP boosts and such.
@Dlaw
Huh? You work in a MS store so you know how well a game is selling worldwide?
I can't believe people actually thought they weren't going to add MT's for their loot boxes. Can we start the rage over this game now just like Battlefront 2? You can buy CoD points to get loot drops that include weapons... Where are the loot box, p2w whiners for this game?
Correct. That being said I bought it digital on my Xbox and it was simple enough to just download on my PC and play it there. Really nice feature.
It would not have sold more than those 3 platforms on just PS4... Be real here. Larger install base =/= highest sales. Just look at Hellblade, that's on PS4 and PC and they finally just now broke 500k after almost 4 months... Cuphead hit a 1mil just on PC in under 2 months.
Uh, what? Steam sold a million... I'd say the Xbox version would be closer to 500-600k
What part are you having trouble on? The second part where he drops down with the horse is easy. Get underneath him and blast him with the 3-way shot. The final part I would use your invincibility power and lay into him, shouldn't have too much health after you get done with that power.
@Dirty
Your maths is forgetting a couple variables. GOG and Windows Store.
Just like UC Online, TLoU suffers from Naughty Dogs famous floaty aiming controls. I could never really get into either MP because of how casual it is. Sure its fun to hop in for a little and play a couple matches, but there is just not enough to keep me hooked.
I know UC and TLoU is more about the SP, but would it kill Sony to focus on making at least one really good competitive online game? I mean Killzone tried, but again it felt more like a shallow tack on.
...
Great game. It's just too bad they ruined the end game grind, which seems strange since they nailed it in the first. They tried to make this one more accessible to the masses and ended up ruining it... Hopefully they make some big changes going forward because I'm already not playing it anymore until there is some more content.
Doubt it haha there is nothing illegal about MT's and done correctly they are fine. I mean look at how incredibly successful GTAV Online is, still. The reason BF2 had such an uproar is that the progression is tied to loot boxes, loot boxes are able to be bought with MT's therefore giving a slight advantage, and then people started saying loot boxes are now equivalent to gambling.
I doubt RDR2 will have loot boxes, but they will for sure have an equivalent to the Car...
They probably wouldn't be able to run a big MMO like this at 1080p/60fps because of the CPU restraint. MMO's tend to be more taxing on the CPU
@Tazzy
Wtf... haha
I feel like I just got yelled at by a 12 year old.
The "dude bro shooter console" is heavily played out and far from the truth now that Sony has all the exclusive deals with CoD, Destiny etc.
Actually the reason that the player base is leaving is because they made the grind too easy. You can get to 305 without effort, you get exotics like they are legendaries and there is no reason to continue playing other than getting bright engrams... and that's about it.
They also ruined the grind by making all armor and weapon drops exactly the same. No more grinding to get a better stat roll for your favorite weapon.
Edit: the player base leaving ha...
Agreed

What do I gain from it? Your replies make my day, Foxtrot.
I personally haven't run into any bugs or glitches. So far its been a very solid, fun experience.
