Have you played it portable? I have had times when the res drops so low it becomes a pixelated mess... looking worse than the first game on the damn Wii. It's UUUUGLY in portable, but looks okay docked.
That will show you how awesome it is to play a less graphical “Doom” on the big TV, then just pull the console off the dock and continue playing it on the go with even shittier graphics and 30fps.
