That's exactly what I want, new gen, new games.
If the ps5 came out with 0 bc then I wouldn't be losing all them games I've bought for my ps4, I'd still own them They just wouldn't be playable on my ps5. If I did want to play one of my older gen games then I'd have to set up my old console.
Bc basically just offers the convenience of not doing that.

I don't think it's a bad thing mate. The opposite in fact. If a new console can play your old games, then great but I just really don't think it's important.
I've barely got time to play my games now nevermind replaying games I've beaten years ago

Ive spent my hard earned money on almost 450 games on ps4 this gen and I don't care if they are playable on ps5. I've got my ps4 for that. I care about that library of games but I want new games, only available for ps5. I don't want to replay games I've already played.

From what I'm hearing, it's a hackneyed story of revenge with unlikable characters (see Skill Up).

The game has been reviewed and scored including the last 12 hours.
I might end up not liking it but I've got it downloaded and ready to play and I can't wait til midnight Thursday

Skillup is not a big fan of the first game at all. He doesn't like the gameplay and is only really a fan of the characters and story. As a game he doesn't rate it. He doesn't like Uncharted or hzd either.
I know mate I just think the whole thing is ridiculous.
And change the skin tone of the main character too. I'm personally offeneded that it's a white guy that's being depicted killing these creatures. That one scene where he's riding a small horse shooting at a fleeing bear in particular upset me. I'll have to let the devs know about this. I can't be the only one.

Skillup doesn't like the original game, Uncharted or hzd, so I kinda expected that he wouldn't like it.
I didn't think the 1st one was as good as many people did. Though I might be changing my mind now I'm playing through it again now, to recap the story.
I've got part 2 downloaded ready for midnight Thursday and can't wait.

Yea I don't think all of them will launch, maybe 2 or 3 of them and astrobots playroom, built into every ps5 to showcase the features of the dualsense
It's gonna be just like outer wilds I reckon mate, learn a bit more each loop.
I think death stranding has it beat with regards to the open areas. And maybe the facial tech and animations are on par. But overall Lou2 has it, and everything else beat, hands down.
