This was a massive chance to show and surprise us with just a few true single player ps5 only exclusives from 1st party studios, but alas they didn't.
I can see how some people think it was great but for me it was a massive disappointment.

Mate, just walk into Game. I went in to see if they had a waiting list while my greggs sausage roll cooled down, and they had a few in stock and they'd nearly all gone. The guy said they weren't allowed to advertise them for some reason.
It's pot luck but that's how I got mine. Gotta be worth a try.

Wil definetly be holding off on getting a ps5 now.
I understand its a business decision, but still I feel quite let down by this news. Microsoft got hammered for cross gen games and now Sony have done the same. I want my next gen games to be next gen only. Surely they will be held back by being able to run on current hardware....

100% completely agree with you mate, gow is my no1 series with gow 2018 being the best in the series and my no1 game of all time.
I'm playing through ghost slowly and I think it's just incredible and most of the time it looks beautiful.
Like you, I didn't think anything would come close to it until the next gow, I'm on chapter 2 and my thoughts could change, but I've even been getting up early for work just to get an hour in. Havent done...

Mate, it is great value, I'm not disputing that. All I'm saying is that that game reveal was seriously disappointing for me. With all the talk and articles of ms studios aquiring ex Sony 1st party devs, I was expecting some reveals that would boost my interest that's all, but there was nothing for me.

Yea you're right mate, a loadout tab in the menu to quickly switch between combat, stealth and exploration gear would be brilliant to include in a patch.
It's OK just swapping costumes, but then you want to switch all your charms aswel.

There's some geat games on gamepass, and I've bought every single one of them on my ps4. The only ms 1st party game that I would like to play is ori, I've played halo gears forza when I owned an xbox one for 3 months, with gamepass, ori wasn't on there at the time.

Sony just dropped lou2 and Got at the end of the gen and then on ps5 there's gonna be sequels to some of the best ps4 games, gow, horizon etc. Plus mm, demons souls, r&c, plus there unannounced games. That was seriously underwhelming. Was genuinely hoping for 4 or 5 story driven single player games to compete with sonys 1st party's efforts, to make me want to get a series x alongside a ps5.

Thanks mate, I thought I enjoyed the game. Thought the story was good, not as good as the first game, but still good.

What exactly did gow 2018 erase from the previous games?
At the end of gow 3 kratos did impale himself to release hope but then there was a trail of blood leading off the cliff and a phoenix engraved into the ground, leaving kratos' fate ambiguous.
The Greek era was constantly referenced and mentioned in the new game.

Yes mate I've played Lou 1 and 2, I'm a bit of a sony fanboy.
