Just about to finish tomb raider now after platting spiderman. Spider-man is the better game without a doubt. Tomb raider is good, very good. Spider-Man is on another level. Up there with Sony's 1st party games.

One of the top ten, possibly 5, games ive ever played. I dont agree at all about the collectibles, like someone already said they are totally optional and dont slow the game down at all if you don't go out if your way to look for them. I personally enjoyed the down time, searching around the lake, taking in the sights, listening to mimirs tales. Thought it was excellent.

Im loving tomb raider too, great game. But the story, script, dialogue, etc are sub-par and almost instantly forgettable. I just skipped most of the side mission dialogs after the 1st one and im well over halfway through the story, and dont really know or care whats going on. Gameplay wise it is fantastic tho.

I just would have loved more side missions, like the tombstone one, instead of loads of bases to clear and crimes to stop. The research labs and backpacks i enjoyed, even the challenges and pigeons were ok. But maybe because i saved them til last, clearing the bases and stopping the crimes got tiresome. Would have happily swapped them for even just 1 or 2 more side missions.
More side storys for the next game please.
Very harsh on tomb raider. I platinumed spiderman a few days ago and it was a briliiant game but swinging around for hours looking for crimes got tedious.
Started tomb raider almost straight after with planet alpha inbetween, and in all honesty tomb raider is exactly what i was expecting, and exactly what i wanted. The controls dont feel cumbersome to me even after the pinpoint swinging of spiderman. The graphics look good also, only a few hours in but it seems like a great game.
