I don't know what to say about Cry Engine, but I do agree that Fry Cry 4 wasn't all that good Like you said.

I Love the graphic and atmosphere for this game.
But I only concern I have is I hope the play mechanic is not like The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing. Not having the virtual arms and hands in the game bugs the hell out of me.

I think the root of the problem as to why 1886 is getting so many bad press is due to the over HYPING.

I noticed most game trailers are getting the same treatment as movie trailers. They use video photography and editing technique to elude people in to believing the movie/game is action packed when it really isn't. Its works for movies but not for video games b/c

I think people are more forgiving if a movies don't deliverer what it suppose to, but for...

I've been looking at 1886 over and over again and I notice how the game play mechanic shift depending on what happening in the scene.

In the hallway scene you are immersed in a beautiful and jaw dropping scenario, but you are limited to walking with very little movement to the arms and hands.

In the really intense scene, you are limited to pressing one or two button to execute an action move. QTE.

I think Nintendo should stretch their 8bit legs again and redo the NES Zelda over again. This time give it that sprite monstrous look like Super Time Force Ultra.

If Nintendo don't care for sprite based game anymore they can always let an indie devs do it for them.

besides, we already have Zelda wii U to look forward to anyways.

That is true. But seeing how some of my buddies who work as devs gives me the idea that UBI might be doing the same thing among all of their studios.

I willing to bet every single one of UBI's studio specialize in one or more talent that the other studios can do better. That said, UBI could shift the work load among all of their studio.

I think I886 is a game worthy of playing from the beginning to end simply b/c the visual are so good that it would motivate players to play it all the way through.

The downfall is, after they've seen everything 1886 has to offer I think most gamers would get bored of it really quick.

I hope R@D can prove me wrong because I really do like some thing about 1886 so far.

Yeah, U4 is the Prettiest Game I've ever seen thus far.

ND should sale framed pictures(HIGH QUALITY)(snap shots) of U4 most memorial scene in uncharted.

I think most gamers would buy it. Oh, make the picture frame in gold or silver, maybe in a wood finish.

I can't think of a better way to honer ND for their hard work.

I highly doubt uncharted 4 will be 60fps simply because I think ND want uncharted players to experience something entirely new game play wise. I think ND wants players to have the capability to choose multiply-interaction/action moves during a fast action game play instead of having a slow and subtle game play with one(or two) action move happening one at a time. That in itself is more important than having 60fps. Personally, I'd rather have a more intuitive and seamless game play instea...

There's nothing wrong with 30fps.

Keep in mind that there is a difference between 30fps mocap animation vs doing the animation manually in 30fps.

From what I can tell by looking at the uncharted demo ND are using a combination of both.
If the animation was all mocap animation than I would be a little sad.

Prime example: The animated musical fantasy drama(Anastasia) film produced by Fox was rotoscoped using live action footage....

The finish product is going to blow everyone away because what ND have shown us so far wasn't maxing out the PS4 hardware. They still have a lot of untapped power to use. The last demo was locked to 30fps even though it could've ran over 30fps. That means ND have a lot more stuff to add to uncharted 4. Can't wait.

Good to know. BTW, didn't the Ice team say they're working on a new graphic engine that will push the ps4 hardware to output more effects more than the graphics.

I like that approach better than pushing for more pixels on screen because you could have the best looking graphics in the world and still wouldn't make a difference in boosting the visual fidelity if there's not enough visual effects. lighting, filters etc.

Smart move.

Personally, I think ND shouldn't stop brainstorming ideas for The Last of Us sequel because They're going to need more unique ideas for TLOU2 now that there over half a dozen zombie games in the works.

TLOU on ps3 was truly an amazing game. But TLOU came out when there wasn't much zombie games out to take away some of the spotlight it was getting from the gaming industry.

Now that there's over half of dozen of zombie games in the works I'm afraid TLOU2 isn't going to get the same attention. Earth no more, the division, and killing floor 2 is going to make it tougher.

That's great news. Its seem as though the new SDK is going to enhance what was already present on the x1 machine.

Balance. I think the x1's hardware/software was created with balance in the mind of MS engineers. If true than the x1 hardware performance is going to be strong in all part of the x1's processing capabilities.
