I don't think its so much fear as it is the fact that when the trailer with cut scenes was touted by many 360 fans to be the graphical answer to KZ2, Uncharted, etc. PS3 exclusives.
Now actual gameplay of FPS action comes out and it appears to have not improved much at all (except for explosions and sparks). This gameplay doesn't look better than MW2 of BC2, never mind KZ2.
That is why so many Sony fans comment on this, just like when so many 360 fans will throw...
Even though Halo's real bread and butter has always been control and gameplay, Reach has been touted by many a 360 Fan as the graphical answer to PS3 exclusives.
Based on that most recent gameplay video, it's need even close. MW2 and BF:BC2 are already better looking with more going on, on-screen.
While I like the idea of the story, this doesn't look like much of a jump from ODST graphically except for what has been shown in the cut scenes, but even the cutscene...
What a roller coaster. F'ING INTENSE .... the game gets you so worked up you find yourself getting anxious and nervous which makes some of the split second decisions get screwed up, thusly affecting your outcome.

Instead of taking the time to create great new IPs for the 360 to bolster its library, they are desperately releasing a 3rd Halo game in 2 years. Shows their lack of creativity and originality.
That's just for all the 360 fanboys to think about while they spit out ignorant statements all day long.
This may be the most epic and dramatic game to date. The scale and atmosphere of this game are mind boggling.
God of War 3 looks incredible. Words cannot describe.
The game was DMC4 with Boobs and Sarah Palin glasses. Bayonetta has already been forgotten and the only time people bring it up is to compare how over rated it was and/or how sad it looks next to GOW3.
Dante's Inferno, while being an overall average game, at least took on a great theme and went to a place where few games had before (Hell).
Either way, can't wait for March 16, GOW3 will go down as the most epic game this gen next to MGS4.
to have Gamefly. Its a good game but compared to others in its genre it is a 2nd tier game. The setting and theme of Dante's Inferno are what really carry it through, not too many games (if any that I can remember) actually use Hell as its setting.
Anyways...a good game, worth a buy if you are in love with the genre, but mostly just a rent for most.
As for EA . . . . I'm ready for Dead Space 2 whenever you guys are ready to ship it !!!

I had to go call 4 Best Buys in my area before I could find a 250gb Slim. Maybe a coincidence, Maybe not.
Also, PS3 sold a lot more than Sony anticipated from Black Friday through Christmas. Plus they sell more globally than 360 (NPD being just the States), so its not hard to believe they may be a little short stocked.
Just like when 360 cut the Pro system's price. They were hard to find for a while.
Its not damage control, I'll bet PS3 outsold ...
. . . .I was pleasantly surprised by the Halo : Reach video. It shows that they are actually trying to take steps in the right direction to improve what many have begun to consider "shovelware". I like the effort they are putting into the game and it looks like it could be the great game that Halo 3 and ODST were hoping to be.
That being said, I also do not think it is graphically on par with God of War 3. Every video of God of War 3 is stuffed with on screen act...

Most people have not played it yet like to comment on how bad it was (same as Haze, Too Human as far as this list goes). Lair actually had really good SIXAXIS control and graphics were great considering how early on it was released, plus the plot/story was good. Lair gets a lot of unwarranted criticism.
Same goes for HAZE and Too Human. Both games were hyped up a lot and while they were not what we were hoping, they were by no means a waste of time/money. They are just game...
I would love for this series to go back to the 80's and Vice City. It was the best GTA IMO. Loved Vice City.
Sand Andreas was excellent too . . . .GTA4 took out too much of the fun things from Vice City and San Andreas. GTA 4 actually felt like a step backwards (No buying property, Working Out, Car Modding, etc.).
Based on how much more powerful 360 is according to you, their must be games that look better than Uncharted 2 and Killzone 2 on 360?

I bought a 360 off a guy at work JUST to play Fable 2 (because I liked Fable so much) and after it freezing everytime I played I had to INSTALL IT TO THE HDD FOR OPTIMUM PERFORMANCE.
LOL. 360 games also run better when you install it to the HDD.
The fanboys are really scratching and clawing these days. That install argument seemed legit to me as a PS3 owner until I got a 360 and Fable 2.

No Blu Ray/HD-DVD drive built in (Had M$ built HD=DVD into the 360 they would have won the HD Format "war" but were more interested in price gouging their consumers, thusly failing)
No Built in HDD (Yeah, buy that no HDD arcade version...too bad it can't do a thing and now you have to buy an add on HDD....more price gouging)
No built in Wifi (more add on price gouging)
No web browser.

The fact that Xbox has to release its 3rd Halo game in 2 years show its desparation and lack of quality exclusive games. While 360 has some really exciting titles coming this year like Splinter Cell (love splinter cell as I am a MGS whore) and Mass Effect 2, 360 really hasn't had the exclusive game lineup to match PS3 for two years now and 2010 looks to be no different.
And its not because MS doesn't have good devs, they just don't have the numbers of Sony. Sony literally has...

At least Final Fantasy changes stories with each game. Halo and COD have been the same crap with little improvement for years (as can be said for many games).
And the reason PS3 fans think multiplats are inferior, is because for the most part . . . .they are. PS3 exclusives are on average much better in all phases. And for every PS3 exclusive you attempt to counter with as a way to defend ...
