I haven't played much MW2 since the Heavy Rain - GOW3 - MLB The Show - FF13 (Yes, I stuck with this mediocre abortion of the Final Fantasy Franchise and beat it...still doing side quests). Now with Red Dead coming soon and the Dragon Age Awakening add on I'm exited for (Loved Dragon Age), I'm not sure how much more MW2 I'll ever play.
Actvision turned COD into the Guitar Hero of shooters. Its getting milked to death and the quality is going downhill.
Heavy Rain actually has a lot of re-playability. Chances are there will be at least a few major plot lines that get drastically changed during your first playthrough. And once you finish Heavy Rain, you'll want to see what could have been.
God of War 3 is different. There is the challenge of Olympus that opens up (Similar to Batman AA challenges) to do once you beat the game and if you have the mental fortitude, you can try to beat it on Titan Mode.

That seems like the way to go. 5-6 hours of gameplay is steep for $60. Even with the co-op.
Most single player games are at least 8 hours or better (inFamous, God of War 3, MGS4, Heavy Rain, Batman AA, PoP, RE5, etc. etc. etc.).

I'm mostly a Sony fan but I wouldn't be a gamer if I didn't acknowledge that I didn't love playing Splinter Cell on PS2, so why would that change this gen?

Its funny but the more I think about GTA4, the more dissapointed I am in it. I hope they go back to Vice City soon, that was my favorite. Best decade (80's), music, characters, clothes, and overall atmosphere. Vice City was awesome. Gimme Vice City, with San Andreas features and Create-a-Character.

No one can deny Plasma has the best picture. They are brilliant displays . . . I went with LCD because they are better suited for gaming.
But I've heard newer plasmas are just as reliable and don't have the brun in of older models.
Most everyone has upgraded their TVs to HDTVs within the last 4 years. Now these companies expect consumers so re-up and spend another few grand for 3D.
Sorry. I, and many others aren't interested. We all bought expensive TVs to last...not to be thrown away a couple years later.
I think it will take a long time to catch on . . . if it does. This is more of a risk than Blu Ray was.

I have always thought that Alan Wake would be to 360 what Heavy Rain is to PS3. Hopefully it lives up to expectations.
