Holy Smokes!
I'm really surprised how much better UC3 looks than UC2! I knew they would improve but UC3 looks absolutely incredible.
I hope these guys are well paid!
The "realism" is in actually seeking out a place to get it repaired.
All video games exist in a fantasy world.
That is the best argument you can make?
Soooo you work 18 hours a day and still game?
Lie Much?
If you just hold L1 ... all you will do is aim.
moron.
BF takes no more skill than COD and vice versa. Get off your soap box. I never knew jumping in a tank, chopper, etc. and spraying artillary was skillful. . . . because that is what happens in BF. At least in COD people shoot guns.
@ Raven.
I agree, thanks for being a realist.
@ HufandPuf
Only a little B%&#H Noob wants to drive a Jet or Tank in a shooter and noob kill people. So much for hardcore FPS fans. The more I think about Battlefield the mroe I realize most of them are camping snipers or cowards that jump in the first vehicle they can find.
And they make fun of COD for killstreaks. Jumping in a tank, chopper, or jet is the lamest t...
MW3 will be a dissapointment if it doesn't sell 30 million units.
BF3 will be a wild success if it sells 10 million.
COD is a household name. Everyone, man-woman-child knows COD. It has become like Mario but for FPS. BF is still under the radar for most video game players.
Only fanboys cannot see the truth. COD is a Juggernaut that shows no signs of slowing. Especially when an abortion like Black Ops sells 25 million copies.
What's funny about this gen, and maybe its younger "gamers", but they think they are hardcore but accept casual changes to their favorite games. They think they are hardcore but would rather see changes that make games less challenging and in depth. This change is an example. So is Battlefield 3 having 2 shot Sniper Kills. But "hardcore" fans of the series defend these watering down changes because it is a game they are passionate about.
If its a...
DLC announced before the game even releases is rediculous.
Its like they are rubbing it in our faces that they will not include everything they made so they can make a quick buck or to.
Maybe I'll just wait until the DLC is out before I buy it . .. and maybe I'll just get it used. Way to go Bethesda . . . you are now EA.
I hope its Dragon Age : Origins styles but with the amazing LOTR story and lore.
Sille,
I agree with you but if people are paying it why should they take less profit for it? I say that for any game.
Video Games are a business and if people will pay it .. . . charge it! Do I dislike buying Madden every year . . . yea . . . do I buy it anyways . . . yes. I love football and Madden is part of a new season starting. Everyone has their passions. Some people like KZ, BF, Halo, Gears, Uncharted, Madden, Cod, etc. Who are we to judge?
...
mr. Sent . . .
You are ignoring that BF3 may not be the sequel of the BFBC series and MOH release last year but thise game lay have well have because they are the foundation from which BF3 has been modeled.
You can see a clear progression from BFBC to MOH/BFBC2 to BF3. People just like to ignore it. They are all "BATTLEFIELD" Titles. To say what you are saying about BF3 means that COD2 The Big Red One, COD3 , W@W, and Black Ops don't tie ...
@ schizoid . . .
I don't get it.
COD : MW has great story lines. They are no worse than EA's BFBC series or MOH rehash last year. MW is building up to WWIII, BFBC was the movie 3 Kings in a video game and MOH was just shock value Taliban vs. US Forces with beards to look like Taliban.
Everyone hates COD apparently online for its noobish nature, but play BFBC2 online and its snipers and losers driving vehicles. There is on...
Does Activision :FORCE: people to buy overpriced DLC?
Or do consumers buy these Map Packs on their own. Can't fault Activision for that. EA started the online pass crap and this is not an issue? But Activision puts out optional DLC and they are the devil?
Right . . . .
The title to this article is like talking about "what would I do if I won the Lottery?"
MW3 will sell 30 million.
BF3 will be a wild success of it sells 10 million.
Whats crazy is MW3 may sell as much in its first week, as BF3 sells in its lifetime. Anyone who looks at the gaming culture right now sees this. If that Treyarch abortion Black Ops can sell 25 million than MW3 will sell more. Plus the Call of Duty "brand" is ins...
Plus when you have the most people playing COD more than any other games online . . . its only a matter of time before imperfections are found and exploited.
Games, or anything in life, can have defects hidden simply by the lack of exposure they get.
I would become an Amazon only game buyer (thinking about becoming one now) and would just buy games based on their sales and promotions.
$60 is sketchy unless you know what you're getting. Rolling the dice on a new IP or potentially good sequel to a mediocre predecessor is bad enough. . .at $70 its becoming not worth it.
These are some of the most rediculous peripherals I've ever seen!
Started with Black Ops now this!
This game has a lot of potential but also clearly needs a lot more work!
Keeping my fingers crossed!
People need to play Madden 12 before disagreeing. I got it after work last night on my way home and it is really impressive!
A lot of improvements all around. Finally not just a roster update. Don't see what IGN saw. This is the best football game in a long time.
