What'd be great is if in whatever game comes out, the culprit is interchangeable in each game with several sets of storylines. That would definitely protect against that spoiler-age and accompanying spoiler-rage. ;) But what's the likelihood that's gonna happen?

I love Alan Wake, but I can see why a lot of people wouldn't want to buy it. It's a fun game, but once you've played through it, there's no real reason to return to it. There's no multiplayer, and in all honesty, the story, characters and experience aren't anything spectacular. Even the DLC doesn't bring a whole lot of new material.

It sucks. A multiplayer co-op would have at least extended the replay value......

This is not a well-written article. It's full of personal attacks on people who were just doing their job.

Working in retail you deal with people like this author all the damned time. You make a mistake and people feel its their God-given duty to inform you that you're wrong and they're right. Heaven forbid someone be WRONG! SHIT! The world is going to end, due to 128MB!

Well, the customer isn't always right. Most of the time they're...

I have to agree here, people on your team that don't contribute to the team and actually bring its downfall really piss you off. But what can you do?

Also, although it's a rather large pipe dream of mine, I'd like to see all of your gamer-score, trophies, and whatever Nintendo comes up with and whatever Steam has all into one overall score. Somehow I don't think that would sit well with everyone though...whatever.

...Eventually.

The ending...AWESOME. That particular ending was pretty awesome, but what's more awesome is the non-existent spoiler alert. Yeeeahhh, that's pretty much the entire game's endings right there in that article.

MOAR SPOILERZ

In SH2, if you looked at Angela's Knife too many times, the letter from Mary and were an over-all shitty player (health below 50% much of the time) and played the tape that Mary left in Room 312 you get the In Water Ending-...

@ Focker--To get the platinum I had to die there too. So I let him kill me with a TV. Indeed, it was awesome.

I think this article needs to be titled "Little Girls, Games and the Crap They Play - Enforcing Gender Roles through Video Games."

You can't honestly believe that anyone over the age of 10 plays these games -_- Especially when most of them are marketed 3 + lol

Sometimes you could do both.

If anything the Wii code-redemption is probably the most time consuming. Not to mention that both MS and Nintendo's prepaid cards get you a set number of points rather than actual tried-and-true dollars and cents currency. I'm fairly positive that both MS and Nintendo also require you to purchase more points than you actually need, so you always have a few hundred points left over not to get anything spectacular, but just to mill around in your account until maybe a theme comes alon...

I love music. I love classic rock. I enjoy a good party game. But I personally prefer the music by members after they'd split up--and wasn't so Mommy and Daddy-pleasing...They made a great contribution to music, but it's a tad overhyped.

The fact that this game was so restrictive in what you could do with songs, how many songs you could play, etc, etc, etc (IDK, I never played the game) and the fact that it was still uber expensive all conspired to shoot it in ...

The Beatles are so overhyped it's absurd. They were lyrical geniuses, sure, but their style of music really isn't everybody's bag. The fact that RB: Beatles was so locked down and restrictive, one wonders why they even made a game to begin with.

Give it a few months and the Green Day Edition will do just as poorly. It's hard to sell a game with expensive peripherals with just 'one' artist. Also lame.

1. Rage Quitters should just be renamed to Crybabies...nuff said.
2. Cheaters
3. Bossy 'anyone' who tells you how to play the game. When they get some of their friends together and you don't play how they want to play, be prepared to get yourself kicked.
4. People who a) spout racist/sexist/homophobic/anyth ing about my goddamned mother through mic, b) believe that every third word should be some sort of curse word c) sing over the mic...

is pretty much free. It serves as DR2's game demo--if you want to unlock the whole thing, it costs around 400MSP. If you opt to get the whole thing, you can transfer your save data from Case Zero to Dead Rising 2 and start the game with upgraded stats.....

...you know, that's pretty good for an unfinished game.

The writer asks how alarm clocks fit in with the story....if you've actually played the DLC, it's pretty clear how they fit in. If anything, the coffee thermoses don't fit into the story that well--they're a homeage to something else, not actually part of the story at all. I think they're just complaining because Remedy did a good job of hiding them.

When you consider that most enemies in the game respawn if you wait in a certain area too long while look...

This was in EA's fiscal projection papers a few months ago, reported on by all sorts of sites. What, did Kotaku forget?

Back on topic, I think that this is most likely to see a scaled-down port on the DSi, the iPhone and the PSP, like AC2 and Ghostbusters...EA is really set to milk this cash cow.

I whole-heartedly agree with this statement. If they keep releasing this kind of stuff the story will soon be dead, uninspired and uninteresting. And that's pretty sad considering DS has a solid story.

The game was bought with the option of returning it for full refund if it hadn't been opened. Since the initial return was done with an open game, they gave him a replacement. It's not GS's fault that one of their employees caught him trying to pull a fast one. Any report made to CA would ultimately end with that being found out leaving him with zero credibility.

You'd get more support here if you had written an article about how GS treated you when you didn't try to defraud them.

The woman knew that you had just tried to return a copy of the game that you had opened and played. You lied and said that it was broken and you made a point that you wanted your cash back instead of store credit. The fact that you made a scene of it probably gave them the impression that you were lying about it not working. Despite that fact, the...
