I have to agree that I don't like it when the price of something is jacked up without being told 'why' it's being jacked up. If MS said that this was to improve the service in the following ways.....then I'd probably bite. If it was jacked up $10.00 to throw in 'free' Hulu subscrips or something similar, then I'd be all for it. As it stands, there's nothing that really justifies it. Is MS trying to recoup a potential Kinect fail they see coming?

I don't want my favourite multi-billion dollar-industry to start charging more for games because of piracy concerns. I don't want them to start forcing me to buy an online key for every game I buy to combat those concerns. I don't want more and more features of my console to be turned off because of piracy concerns.

How many of those copies are sitting as used games at Gamestop or EB games right now? Remedy and MS don't make money on used game sales which is what someone who is iffy on the idea will buy.
People were disappointed by it due to how much time it had taken to make and how much had been scrapped from it. I own and thoroughly enjoy both of these games and to be honest, I got more bang for my buck on HR than I did on AW in replay value alone....

On the SP special on the XBL Videos, they even said that DS2 was going to be an action game with horror elements. Suggestions that you'll be outnumbered,you'll be scared, but then you can come back and wipe out a bunch of Necromorphs at once.
I just hope that DS2 gets rid of that function from DS1 that 'shows you exactly where to go.' The best part of playing the old RE games was when you were lost and hurt, you couldn't figure out where to go.
Paid-for DLC sucks, but...I'm pretty sure that the basic Case Zero is free, but if you want to carry over your achievements and other bonuses into Dead Rising 2, you need to shell out the cash.
The basic Case Zero acts as a demo for DR2, but if you pay for it, it's longer with more unlockables. In the long run it's probably work your $5.00. And of course people will bitch that all of this stuff should be free, but...why should the company just give it to you? C...
