I wonder how many Game of the Year awards this will win?
Resi 2 for me as well!
I like Dead Island. It has its flaws, but it's a far better game that it is being given credit for imo. When Gears comes out though it'll wipe the floor with it, sales wise.
Out of interest, in what order would people rank the Resistance games?
For me it'd be:
3 > 1 > 2
I'm guessing a lot of people might feel that way?
Not keen on the look of this one. Perhaps one for the Warhammer fans?
I really don't think it was a let down actually!
I'll agree that I found the visuals (when inside) a little odd, murky even, but outside in the open it looks wonderful.
Aside from that though, the star of Resistance 3 (for me) is the weapons. Even the two weapons you start with are so much fun...the secondary fires are fantastic.
Really sad you'd cast Insomniac aside though, they made Ratchet & Clank and the Resistance games (...
I'll buy and enjoy both.
Oh no, can't I be a fanboy and cry about which one is better? ;-)
No love for MW3 then?
I'm still looking forward to both this and Battlefield 3, both for different reasons.
Not sure why there is so much hate?
The first LEGO Potter game was a guilty pleasure, and ended up being my favourite LEGO game so far.
Can't wait for this new one, to finish the story!
Some bloody good games coming this year. The 3DS looks to finally be picking up some steam, then re-releases of some classic Wii games, along with the new Zelda and Kirby.
Not too shabby considering it must be near the end of it's cycle!
Really did love the first one - hugely under-rated, this is one of my most anticipated games of 2012. Cannot wait!
As long as it makes the game run smoother - no big deal.
Assassin's Creed, yeah, pretty much ensures I'll get a Vita.
A bit harsh, they do genuinely try and iterate on the game each year!
2012 seems a very long way away for this!
Never played it, no intention of doing so!
Depends where you look. Personally I really enjoyed it, but it was lauded as though it were the greatest thing in the gaming world, ever.
I agree though, it's pure trial and error gameplay, with striking visuals and a great atmosphere of dread.
You didn't find Dead Space at all scary, or unsettling?
I wonder if anyone who didn't buy Dead Rising 2 the first time around, will be more tempted now?
Glad it's coming out at a lower price though.
The first 2 games for £25 is just insane value for money. I've seen Shadow of Colossus/Ico collection for £18 too recently. 4 games for £40~ on PS3. WHAT value!!
