If you have a good connection, it can be a superb way to play games. The universal wireless controller means I can play Batman: Arkham City or AC: Revelations on my iPad!
Fenix has far nicer breasts though!
Forgot all about Motorstorm. Sony tend to release big games early in the year though, and you forget about them. LittleBigPlanet 2 is a special title though!
This game keeps getting better and better looking.
That said, there's only one Liara for me!
Toss up between Gears 3, MW3 and BF3 for me...all for different reasons.
Understand where you are coming from, but to be fair, Gears 3's storytelling was so much improved over the second game. The touching moments weren't ham-fisted etc.
I also particularly like the early Cole moments. For a change the players in the story felt like characters, all of their own, not just meat.
I've really not played much DLC this year! :-S There's just been too many good games to go around!
Wholeheartedly agree with this review, but for a player like myself (who isn't very good) the new additions to the multiplayer make it a far more enjoyable experience.
I still prefer Uncharted 3, but Batman is a fine choice.
Skyward Sword also, phenomenal game.
What about Wavy Tube Man Chronicles from Gunstringer!? :-D
They did this with Bad Company 2, a MASSIVE update whether you purcahsed the DLC or not.
Not a fan of it, we don't ALL have super-fast connections.
Better than Bastion or Ms. Splosion Man? :-P
Not even an MMO player here, but the trailers for this game have a lovely art style - and this interview makes the devs sound like they've got a good sense of humour too.
I reckon I will end up playing it, but I hope it's better than the DLC, which I found to be quite poor.
It being a downloadable game is the right move though, imho.
Bioshock infinite = game of the year 2012, IMHO.
The last of us looks ace too. Not sure about another Alan Wake though.
Gonna grab this one myself, looking forward to learning a new fighter.
Wasn't the rule either it had to be published first on 360 OR it got a Special Edition later, on 360? This is a Special Edition...so...y'know?
The PSN version was ace though, a real under-rated gem. Hopefully it plays just as well, with even more content!
Same here, 20GB download wasn't it? No thanks!
From what I've played, I prefer Rayman, but the new Sonic is great (as long as you play the full console version and not the inferior 3DS version).
It's been a reasonably good year for platformers with those two!
Dark Souls is amazing, but you can see why it's not on the list imho.
