In love with this game!
The interview makes for a good read too, Dan sounds like he really knows what he's talking about.
The first one is my favourite, but I loved all of them...yes, even 5!
So pleased 6 has been announced :-D
It looks decent enough, but it's a shame it sounds as if it doesn't quite capture the original's fun. Like robbttf says, sometimes the ol' rose-tinted goggles betray us!
I love the 3DS, but I don't see the Vita as direct competition, they both offer very different experiences.
It really is a gorgeous screen. The whole device screams quality from that video.
Interesting! Will EA bother with cloud gaming at all? They've allowed demos of their games on Gaikai, but nothing with OnLive as of yet.
Although, they do have Origin - but surely this would be another revenue stream for them?
I was already laughing as the "Hey listener, come on in..." part happened! XD
I've never actually played a single JP game. Sounds like this one is one of the best though.
YESSSS! Love LEGO games!
Not a big fan of the first one, but it had enough potential that I'm willing to give the second a go.
Adored Warhawk, just never played it as much as I'd have liked.
Sounds like Starhawk is just as good then!
I have fond memories of these. Went to play one of them again via OnLive and (obviously) it's the PC version, but without gamepad support - which is a shame. Felt quite alien using the keyboard for the early platform sections.
The designs on these periphs look cool.
The PS3 version was so bloody good - sounds like this is even better!
Might be, they do tend to dominate. I'm just gutted it isn't Rayman Origins!
Yeah, Saints Row: The Third is around £20 in a lot of place at the moment, wonder if that can climb to the top of the charts.
Indeed, but a 2GB "patch" is just BS. Not the way to do things imho. I don't want to be told "you can't play the game you purchased until you've downloaded 2GB of data, because this is how we do".
Gaming is amazing these days, but in some ways it's such a pain in the arse experience for the end-user.
Not sure if the discounted price was clever marketing or coincidence, but if it weren't for the £20~ price point for a week (or more?) I'd be shocked at this.
As it is, maybe this is Activision being kicked in the knackers for retaining that high price point with permanence. Then again, it sold millions so I doubt they are too fussed.
One of the best looking games I've ever seen!
