Did you like the last GR? It felt so dumbed down to me I couldn't play it. I just went and played GRAW2 again. GRAW2 is still head and shoulders above what they have been putting out recently. I don't get what's going on at Ubi.

Could you be thinking of private servers instead? Devs and media types get access to closed servers.
I'd really like to be able to do this though. It helps learning the maps so much to just fire up a private match and go.

My AMD equipment works great. The R9 290s and 9590 have been phenomenal for me. Won't catch me yawning over AMD with the performance for the price I've gotten out of them

I think that's still a big problem SteamBox and its new controller has. Its still not a "sit on your couch console" cause the keyboard is still required to navigate though the oS. At least someone is trying to address the problem

EA has a different model than ubi. For them sales and quality are only a small part. You have to consider the companies and ips they have acquired.
My 9590 hits and stays at 51C in BF4 and planetside2. All other games never go above 42 even after long play times. Still running it at 4.7. Can't really find a reason to boost it up yet. It's liquid cooled but I believe that cpu requires it. Running 2 r9 290s.

You may want to consider just getting a gaming pc. There are FAR more windows based games on Steam. I noticed quite a number of games durring the winter sale with no linux versions
