I've been crashing SP and in observer mode regularly on PC now. Lost Sp saves too. Probably ought to check my unlocks...

It's not a console. It's a pc. Pc users don't use discs anymore. You can add non-steam games to the client and launch the game from there if you want or just load a game from USB.

I don't understand the problem. Its a pc. The game ends up on the HDD either way and you always have an internet connection.

They never show if the brightness, contrast and colors are calibrated on these things. They want to make the biggest deal out of these things but never detail the most important part of the test.

Have you been able to get Max Payne 3 to work? A bunch of people, me included, can't get it to install. Something to do with Rockstar social club and dlc keys.

"All these issues inherited from the old Arma 2 engine that is just not acceptable anymore given the amount of time they’ve been working on this."

Who the fu$# is this guy to judge them like that? He didn't have to buy it at all. He knows it's an alpha build. And there seems to be plenty of people who feel its perfectly acceptable. Plus he's locked into a $30 price for the finished game. Ass

You're right though. Even if he thought it was a listing error, a normal person would have been smart enough to contact the seller to verify. Not a lot of sympathy for him.

eBay doesn't allow "joke" listings. The buyer will get his money back and the seller will be banned

He will get his money back. These type of listings are against eBay's TOS. The seller will get banned. eBay didn't do any damage control. Its their policy to protect the customer this way. It doesn't matter how "stupid" the buyer may have been or how expensive/popular the item, the listing was clearly meant to take advantage of someone.

I've been a powerseller on eBay for years and i'm very familiar with eBay and Paypal policy.

WTF did I just try to read?! I seriously think I felt something "pop" behind my right eye trying to read that shit

Here's something else to consider that I haven't seen being talked about much.

We all know about the RROD. I'm not lying when I say I've gone through 5 console. Still love my 360. So this is my concern as an xbox fan.

MS is hyping up the XO integration with cable boxes (which nobody gives a crap about). So what happens when people do set up their XO with their cable box like they want us too and it's running near 24hrs a day?

@death

Compare that to the $6.5 billion LOSS Sony posted last year. The Xbox brand may not be profitable but Sony has been struggling as a company for some time now. It's not inconceivable that Sony goes bankrupt in the near future. I can't see them posting anything but large losses Q4/13 and Q1/14.

If they would have taken the 5 seconds to google the game they would have seen it got caught between console cycles and moved to next gen.

None of my friends have been talking about buying either console. I'm not too thrilled about any of the launch titles myself. Have they mentioned any price break for the Marketplace game purchases? If MS want to push the digital delivery format so much even a $5 discount would go a long way IMO

Nobody seems to mention that nearly 1/2 of the 360s out there are NOT on Live. Even if everything went perfectly for MS, they still lose half their customers. There are reasons people choose not to be on Live. Cost, availability, keeping their kids away from it, etc. It's mind blowing how any company could come to make these decisions.

What he's saying about the way we use discs is absolute bullshit. Sure, I can lend my copy of Skyrim to my brother and we won't be playing at the same time, but he won't be PAYING ANOTHER $60 TO PLAY IT EITHER!

4780d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

Well that sucks. So I have to buy 2 copies of a game if I have 2 xboxs, huh?

4780d ago 5 agree0 disagreeView comment

This just doesn't make sense on many levels if they did do it. I couldn't play my game at a friends house without bringing my own xbox? Would it force people to by multiple game discs in households that have more than one account?

Sorry for the delay. I've been on call the last 2 days and my hospital has been stupid busy.

I apologize for any misunderstood meaning as well. I had no disrespect at all. In fact, I thought your argument was well thought out and written. There is often a disconnect between how a poster hears his own comments and how others may read them.

So, anyway, good journeys to you and enjoy your gaming internet friend.

I didn't misquote you, I replaced "game" with "religion" for effect. (which, apparently, was not effective) I understood you perfectly, I was trying to point out that religion is already mostly fictional. So religious people have strong emotional ties to fiction anyway, so it's not hard to see them making the jump to being easily offended by another made up story.

Sorry, the wording of that last sentence is strange

"Look, RELIGION is a STORY. It's entirely fictional - its characters, its concepts, its events, its universe - you're READING through a narrative, not a reality, and it will only 'affect' you if you're sensitive enough to allow it to."

I think I see the problem
