I suspect the issue of not being able to carry over characters has to do with them needing to build a new engine. What they have now is rumored to be a nightmare to design for and won't scale up to much more content. They can't just make destiny 2 a huge expansion from what we have. The vault is limited to the space we have now because the engine will literally not display any more information of screen. They just cannot move forward on an engine that is built to work on PS3 and 360. ...
Doesn't look like Nacon sells outside of a few EU countries.
Thanks. I won't go to Forbes due to the adblock restriction.
I have a feeling they may have to if the engine is as difficult to develop for as rumored. If they have to run a new engine things aren't likely to carry over.
It is also part of their contract with Activision that was revealed in the O'donnell lawsuit
I'm not surprised. I've been waiting 4 years on a simple property dispute that's cut and dry.
I can't watch a 10 episode season of anything even in HD without it blowing through my 400G data cap, so hopefully that will issue a change in that policy. (Games do not use nearly the same amount of bandwidth as streaming.) That's also assuming the ISPs will even allow it without downgrading. Hell, they downgrade HD content as it is and the infrastructure isn't there in most homes to even use 4k. In cases of providers forcing data caps, I doubt it will be affordable and I wouldn&...
Eff you?
That company you remember is gone. Many of their best people are at 343 and they forced out the rest (Staten, O'Donnell)
Sure, blame Activision, but Bungie signed that contract. They got in bed with Activision and handed over control, which if you think about it, was a pretty shitty thing to do after fighting so hard to gain independence from Microsoft.
Their condescending, smug attitude has been on display for awhile now. And not only that, it's been proven t...
I played solo in the DZ for the last two nights and it was fine. Filled my extraction stash many times. You just have to pick your routes and encounters. I was often safer showing up where multiple groups were since they couldn't tell if I was part of the opposite side.
One thing that will be a problem is that you can get larger parties together. My clan had a group of 8 running around. When you leave your squad in the DZ it doesn't pull you out of the game instance ...
IDK, I find all the guns pretty damn similar. You can head shot from across the map with a pistol. My biggest gripe is on the bigger games, if you can't catch specific power ups before your teammates you're really hindered.
@madjedi,
I believe that's why they established that Rey already knew how to fight (somehow) early on in the movie. Clearly, there is supposed to be something special about her so I give the benefit of the doubt. What's harder to stomach was that Kylo nearly got his clocked cleaned by a regular (janitor) stormtrooper.
looks like they're continuing to ruin Ghost Recon
I agree with all you said. The reality though, is that they formed this 10 year revenue stream with a development schedule no AAA has ever attempted. I'm feel like monetary decisions are always going to come first now. Especially after they started behind the 8 ball
If the articles about the development of the game are to be believed, everything up to TTK was initially meant to be in the vanilla game. But they forced the writer out and had a complete re-write just months before release. They pulled out masses of content to monetize into DLC. I personally don't believe all the things said about it but believe it's somewhere in the middle. What I am certain of, IMO, is that Bungie has become a very manipulative and dishonest company.
The biggest problem I noticed was in drop zone where the game doesn't fill in the spots of people who drop out of the losing side. Almost every game I played had most people leaving the losing team after 3 pods capped in the first round. Had multiple games playing 7 on 1 for two and a half rounds
I'm sorry to break it to you but all those reasons you stated still exist for TTK. You are still going to have an issue finding raid partners as before. You'll level to 40 in about an hour and get through the story quests in one sitting. I completed the arms day gun challenges in less than 30min. The first two levels of Court of Oryx drop BLUE gear and you have to play the 2nd level 3 times to access the 3rd. Yeah, that's not going to get old quick.
I've playe...
Complains about how many articles there are rehashing the same information over and over, does the same thing.
That 5.8% isn't that significant to me. How many players ended up with games they never wanted over the holidays or birthdays by now? And I believe the completion rate in gaming overall is very low so the 23% might actually be higher than average
I have tons of games sitting around waiting for me to get back to them, if ever
I've had nothing but problems with Scuf in the past. The once sent me a controller that was disassembled in the box. Their customer service is god awful as well. I was forced to do a credit card charge back after they tried to bully me on the phone. There are better options out there than this shit company. Evil, Battle Beaver, Cinch just to name a couple off the top of my head.
