3D doesn't really require large amounts of processing power for video but it does require alot of space...So look to future 3D games on the x360 to be shipped with a flash drive and game disc giving the developers as much space as a single layer blu-ray disc 16gb + 9gb= 25gb. The processing hit that developers are talking about deals with games and the need for 3D games to be broken up into multilayered imaages to give the picture a stereoscopic 3D look.

The one thing we all know from every console generation is that the games will get more visually stunning every generation of software. I Think that it has to be either a game we haven't seen this gen at all or 1 that was previously not a MS title because there making a big deal out of it being exclusive and if it was already something that would be exclusive to them because they already owned the rights to it then it really wouldn't be that big of a suprise, but if were another title that they gimped from sony or nintendo then that would be a suprise and a big event something to be excited about like they said they were.
I think MS may even do it for 199 and throw in a built in wi-fi in the new model... They have always said 199 was the magic price point and this may very well be the time for it. Yep I think you're right Microsoft should buy them if for no other reason then just getting ahold of all those touch interface patents that pre-date the I-craze that we all know apple is infringing on which is why apple made a big huff about palm but never pulled the trigger. Well I see you didn't actually look up the cost of a blu ray disc and what does the cost at best buy have to do with what what a developer or publisher is gonna pay for a flash drive in bulk anyway. I think you missed my point in that it would be a pack-in in the case with a game disc, and it doesn't have to be a 16gb flash drive it could be a 1,2,4,8,or 16 I was simply speaking of the limits of what they currenty allow.

I wonder whats gonna happen when Microsoft launches Natal+slim+price dropped consoles later this year? We can expect that sony will launch Move+slim ps3 combo's but will they reduces thier price too. It can be argued that the success they've had in the past 7 months is directly related to thier 2009 price drop. At this point the effect of it are wearing off and history shows us that when the x360 is significantly cheaper than the ps3 it outsells it for lengthy periods following price drops...
