I think there needs to be some more maturity in PS3 fanboys, and less fear mongering out of 360 fanboys.
I don't mind if people are fanboys, but be civil about things.
I do think the 360 fanboys are worse, though, because they label way too quickly (to them, everyone who isn't a 360 fanboy is a PS3 fanboys), and they have seen to do the fear mongering thing. By that I mean that they don't actually SAY anything to reply to anything they don't a...
It's a bug, not "removal of an advertised features."
And I know what you're trying to imply. I just wonder if there was an outrage over the removal of support for third party storage devices by Microsoft by the same people who are bitching about this phony outrage over something that we're OBVIOUSLY reading too much into.
@IdleLeeSiuLung: How can they "know" if they are "looking into it"? I fail to see what you WANTED...
I think the article has it wrong, and thinking that we're pissed JUST because of the price.
We didn't want Kinect, anyway, and the price point just solidifies our reasoning. The thing is, we're pissed because MS is touting this as the best thing ever, and is shoving it down our throats as if we should completely forget about anything else they are putting out, such as Reach and GOW3, and focus on something that, when you get down to it, is something we've seen...
Would've loved for them to have EWJ 1 and 2 in a combo pack (just so I can hear a remix of the Anything But Tangerines track), but this is really good.
EDIT@budbundystyles: The game WAS hard, but very fun. Both games were pretty hard (EWJ 2 was easier, but they kind of overloaded it with puzzle-style, "weird" levels and not enough of the hardcore platforming levels, though the music for the second one rocked). But it's not impossible to beat.
Yeah. I think some complaints that they can't do that because of privacy issues came about. Some people need to follow the laws of their countries, and two wrongs don't make a right.
Yes, it's confirmed: Samus WILL have words to speak in this one. Finally!
Wonder if that's Jennifer Hale that is doing her voice again (hope so).
And the game had my attention the day it was first announced. Seems to me that Team Ninja is showing that they know what they are doing. This just might be the game that wins over some hardcore fans for Nintendo (I'm definitely picking it up).
Giving one, as well. Hopefully I get some back. I think it's just that too many take bubbles and not many give any. Either that or the ratio is broken (a minus is worth much more damage than a plus is worth its help, for whatever reason).
You know, even if this article was in any way correct, the fact that this is coming from someone who hosts a Yankees radio show that not even tumbleweeds would blow past makes it that much more unbelievable. At the very least TRY to be bipartisan.
Be careful actually trying to bring that line of common sense into a discussion that brings out the people that think that the only other people that exists are the worst PS3 fanboys anyone could ever see.
That's what these types of articles bring out. It never ends. Someone posts tripe like this to get their contrib rank up and get the trolls out and posting and flame baiting others, others try to inject INTELLIGENT counterarguments to it, and the trolls respond by calli...
While you are correct on that there is an influx of people who will delete bubble from others just because they don't agree with the opinions expressed, you seem to not really delve too much into that pro-PS3 posts get similar treatment, and nearly focus exclusively on PS3 fanboys that act like idiots.
You bring up candystop's post, and you never bring up that he called out PS3 fanboys when he didn't really have to, and that he might've been saying things tha...
Man, Paul, you're obviously holding back. Say how you REALLY feel?
Killzone 3, GT5, Sorcery, Dead Space 2, just about the entire EA Sports line, HOTM, RE5, The Fight, Eyepet, and the lists upon lists that a lot of other commenters posted here. And where is this whole "not giving a shit" line coming from again? My God, even those that hate the PS3 are calling this guy's bluff.
Basically put, Paul Naber! Is! An! IDIOT!
EDIT: ...
I honestly thought, and hoped, that this was a joke article and that Kotaku was just making things up. Sadly, they are not. I checked the WBC's website. It's indeed listed there under the "pickets" section.
Ugh! What the hell? It's like if you try to ignore them, they respond by getting louder. Sadder thing is that there's really nothing you can really DO about them, and they know it and taunt you about it to no end.
EDIT@Nexus-Knigh...
Yeah, that's what I was thinking. They cut the prices of the other models to make room for the new SKU, and that came out this month, too. It's not surprising in the least, as it's not every month that the 360 beats the Wii. You guys DO remember last year when Sony introduced the Slim and the price cut, and what they did to the NPD sales that next month, do you?
Not to mention that the PS3 was still having shortages hurting its sales (which Sony DOES need to get ...

THAT'S how it got approved.
It all depends on the difficulty of the game and how they get things to be difficult. If there are cheap kills to be had in the game (like where you get killed by something that you're questioning as to how in the hell you were supposed to know the thing you killed was even THERE), then yeah, you need checkpoints at generous points, or the ability to save wherever you need to, in order to not have to repeat a grueling puzzle you've spent hours trying to get past only to get shafted by...
Personally, I just think this is another part to the story. They aren't changing the reason, but rather giving us another way to describe it.
IFLOW: Final Fantasy XIII would like to speak to you about your "win".
And Cold, could you provoke any gamers anymore? On second thought, don't answer that.
I think the PS3 was an awesome buy for me. I play it a lot more than the other systems I have (360 and Wii). That's because I like the exclusives more, and Blu-Ray seems to be the go-to for devs because of how big in GB size the games are beginning to become. Sony seemed to look down the road and be ready to deliver with what they set out to do. Yeah, I bought the 360 for Fable, and it didn't disappoint, and I got Mass Effect for it, too. But other than that, the 360 hasn't seen a...
This article brought to you by Activision, letting you know that Guitar Hero 100 will be out in about a few months, with its greatest hits version out a week later and the "OMG, WUT?" hits version out after that. Each is $200 for the game only, with $500 for each instrument. Each instrument and the game are all sold separately. Online pass required for online play only in new copies, with each other pass costing $50.
Oh, and warranty? WHAT warranty?
commodore, why is it that every single time we talk about this, we only talk about the PS3 fanboys as if they are the only ones who have ever committed anything bad on this site. That's part of the problem that we have to kill before we can get anywhere: stop thinking that one side of fanboys is somehow worse than the others. And, like I said before, the thing of projection (where you're faults are the faults of others, and you're completely innocent of behavior you claim the othe...
