Where did the "fanboy factor" come into any of this? I certainly have failed to notice it.
Umm...one mistake will keep you from finishing the race? Must be one HELL of a mistake you make!
New Disney worlds, eh?
And this is from a Japanese (well, at least by origin) developer.
They did pick Nightmare Before Christmas for a world, which means Nomura is willing to pick more obscure titles. Can anyone think of a few they haven't picked yet?
There are some people who just can't grasp that some of these companies have taken our dislike for Gamestop, considered it to be a hatred for the used game market, and then decided that it was the perfect opportunity to take out that market so they can get more money from us that they don't deserve to have.
When will someone call this what it is?
I think the list's inclusion of the iCarly game was a bit of a cop out. They couldn't find any other game that people bitched about for sex and violence and that?
Think of it. All the games that created quite a stir in the gaming world that got mainstream press, then, the #1 offensive game becomes little more than a review of a shovelware game that you could've gave to ANY shovelware game. Not to say that he's wrong on anything he said about it, but make a se...
I wonder how one would be able to tell if you were playing with auto and, if so, if that would be grounds for removing yourself or them from the game or something similar. I'm curious if it's a game breaker for someone to do that, assuming you can tell.
It was revealed in the very first Metroid that Samus was female.
And no personality? Like 3/4ths of characters in games anymore? I liked that Samus had character flaws and actual feelings that were shown.
There's a ton of reasons why some people hate the Halo franchise. The main character is one of them.
It's because of what the Wii is marketed too. They alienate the hardcore fan base before releasing a hardcore game.
The game is good. Great, even (QQers just need to STFU)! Thing is, as I've said before, the game needed some touch up and more powerful hardware to run on. The story was good and expandable, Samus should still have a voice, and the gameplay just needs to be harder and longer.
But yeah, it was marketing to a crowd that might not really h...
"fans of metroid prime don't own a wii"
You DO know that Prime 3 is ON the Wii, right?
And I'm actually wondering when in any of that article did I SAY that! I'm also wondering when in any of the article did I not make it clear what the issue was, which wasn't just "oh, it wasn't hitting the PS3".
If that's all you believe this article is, then you have one hell of a selective memory of what you read.
There is an issue with that, though. It's what I said in regards to the GTA4 stuff. The PC version came out without TLATD or TBOGT, nor was it ever announced until a year after the 360 got theirs.
That and Microsoft is clearly trying to take away Nintendo's share of the casual market with Kinect, so it's clear that they consider Nintendo a threat (at least they do now).
Oh, and one of the devs is wanting an interview with Neo. Hopefully we'll ...
Not that I give a shit about the game (and I don't get the "love" for it by some of the people above), but this might deserve an answer from Sony about what went on.
That and they do sound to be a bunch of douchebags. "We're tired of people asking us for something we obviously don't care about pushing the issue. Stop demanding it, even when enough people demanding it might make Sony take a second look at their 'denial' of the game."
I would comment on this, but I'm trying to figure out if I should be turned on or creeped out by that pic.
Because GT5, inFamous, GoW3, Uncharted 2, many multiplatform games that aren't inferior and are actually superior at times, Killzone 2/3, MoH, MGS4, and anything on Move...none of that really EXISTS on the PS3, does it?
Seriously, THINK about what you say before you say it (assuming you weren't just being sarcastic, which, if that was the case...)!
Yeah, I agree.
If the MGS publishing ME1 on the 360 is the reason why Bioware can't or won't port ME1 to the PS3, then why not just SAY that instead of being so secretive about it? Seems to me that's not the reason at ALL.
Perhaps they are releasing the latest game to see if ME will sell on the PS3 and if it does well, they'll port ME1. Thing is, that would be VERY foolish and silly to use a game that benefits a LOT on if you've played th...
Well, it's no secret that there are tons of issues with the game. That and SE seemed to put a leveling system that is too complex and too restricting to be called an actual system. They basically tried to fix what wasn't broken from MMOs like WoW, and then tried to find what they got right about FFXI and break THAT, too.
And he is also right that SE needs to stop churning out utter shit. FF13 was good, but the rest of the stuff lately is with no excuse. They also need...
Well, that is your opinion. You're entitled to it, but I can name a good bit of other games that are ten times worse.
Wow! If you really need us to tell you WHY it's such an awesome game, then you're not paying attention to what makes a game good.
Seriously, if this is the WORST MGS game, then I would hate to find out what it is you ARE looking for in a MGS game!
Because gamers have this knack with actually playing OTHER GAMES! Do COD fans play ONLY COD games, or do they decide to play other things in the downtime?
And why should being a COD fan keep anyone from playing KZ3 or any other shooter> And how do you know that KZ3 WON'T be the be all end all game (not saying it will or won't, but you seem pretty sure of yourself)?
As TotalBiscuit has always said about the World of Warcraft Cataclysm beta in his videos, beta will be beta. That's WHY we have the betas (or at least that's the idea behind having betas). They want to see what things occur in real situations. Thus, these bugs will happen (and we all KNOW how buggy a WoW beta can be) and will be encountered. Thing is, no matter how silly it may sound, the only way it will get fixed is if people actually TELL them that there's an issue. They're...
