If Sony would've been more honest about how piss-poor their security team was, we would've never had this issue to begin with. The part you quoting seems like more of a mistake of wording on the author's part. He meant piracy of someone else's work shouldn't happen. I think it's a good article, and it's something I've been saying for some time: companies need to stop blaming piracy every single time something in their company goes bad.
