Good a terrible looter shooter, save the flying gameplay mechanics for Mass Effect and focus on getting that and Dragon Age.
Also leaks of a Castlevania reboot as well in the gameplay style of the Souls series.
Its not, AC has now morphed into an open world fantasy rpg, its clear Ubisoft don't want to make the traditional AC games and are dong this instead but keeping the AC name as new ip's are risky.
In no particular order:
1. SOCOM
2. Warhawk
3. Syphon Filter
4. Jak & Daxter
5. Resistance
Unlikely to get revived but I can dream Dark Cloud
Look Anthem was dead on arrival, it should have been a story single player focused rpg, instead a incomplete looter shooter with sponge type enemies. Put the resources into Dragon Age 4 and the new Mass Effect. The one thing they could keep from Anthem is the flying mechanic, that's something tailored made for Mass Effect.
Do Battlefield 2142.
"The bugs are about on par with other rpgs" Eh no they are not that's utter bullshit, I don't recall Sony taking Skyrim, Witcher 3, Dragon age of the PS store due to poor performance.
With Covid the developers are likely working from home and need more time, I can see more games getting pushed into 2022.
Because it will be monetized MMO that nobody asked for.
As they are exclusives to help sell PS5 consoles, plus we're forgetting the fact that Xbox does not look to be offering any competition this year as they try to resell Halo infinite back to the wary public so Sony might not need a heavy hitter to counter it.
I doubt it, likely Spring 2022 release. I have no doubt SSM could release it this year but I just cant see Sony releasing with when they already have Destruction all stars, Ratchet & Clank, Returnal, Deathloop, GT7, Ghostwire Tokyo and Horizon forbidden west all due out this year.
Bethesda's Fallout 4 reveal to release of 6 months was brilliant. I still don't understand how more developers haven't copied that formula.
@StoneyYoshi How much of that estimated 800 million is taxed though?
Wont be the last, I've a feeling Covid will cause more games to slip into 2022.
@DaveZero, yes it does matter as Biowares strength has always been single player story driven rpg, this multiplayer nonsense from EA has been an utter disaster.
I fear this will be some kind of gaas, mmo, co-op style game. The recent departures from Bioware don't fill me with confidence plus the impression I get from the trailer is that it doesn't look like a direct sequel to inquisition.
Not really sold on it with that trailer, they could have at least shown gameplay.
Epic battles against the Kree would be a start. The potential this game had and they blew it, its the bloody Avengers, it should have been the most hyped game of the year instead were fighting lame sponge androids, not one decent boss battle especially when you compare them to Sony's Spiderman games .
Ouch
The one thing I liked about this game was the flying mechanics, they can definitely salvage that to use on other games in the future. Jetpack in Mass Effect 4 has to be a given.
