The mere fact that MS for all intensive purposes were going to release their biggest franchise with the launch of their new console in that terrible state tells you all you need to know about MS and their shitty culture to consumers. But with fanboys like you willing to defend them I don't blame them.

Bethesda will likely be there saving grace but long term MS will likely ruin those studios for quantity over quality as I cant see the suits in MS wait possibly 5-6 years for the next Elder Scrolls.

It was delayed because of massive backlash from gamers and they got trolled as fuck with craig the brute. MS were full on going to release it half done with other features launching later.

Brilliant, hope its just released on PS5/SeriesX so its not gimped down for last gen.

The dangers of gamepass is Microsoft will want to keep pushing games out which will inevitably mean quantity over quality and potential franchises ruined.

Actually I just doubled checked and I paid €79.99 for Returnal which puts it at $97, Americans are getting a steal.

It will affect the game especially still trying to design a game around those crap jaguar cpu's

The price tag is not that bad when you compare it to European prices if you converted would put games at $80

No its perfectly fine just like its perfectly fine for people to watch men throw and kick a ball around a pitch, each to their own. Gaming is a lot better than people sitting on their couches watch reality television crap like Love Island, The Bachelor, Gogglebox etc.

Its possible it could well release this fall, they did show a gameplay trailer and its reported that the guy leading development has a reputation of getting games developed on time.

More games likely to follow, hoping Crimson Desert, Horizon FW, Halo and fingers crossed Starfield make release this fall otherwise were left with CoD, FIFA and Battlefield.

I hope the delay is down to WB seeing the shit show that was the Avengers game and wisely delayed it to make it a more story driven single player experience that the fans actually want.

"Yall just in your feelings about it" what does that mean? please bear in mind I'm not from Dixie country where I suspect you are from and where you look at your cousin intimately.

Wonder will this make into the inevitable Netflix documentary of the most expensive failed video game in history.

1794d ago 2 agree5 disagreeView comment

Exactly, I am concerned with the future of Bethesda and if MS buys up more publishers, its great now but in 5-10 years time what will it be like? likely live service games with micro transactions and loot boxes on steroids.

@MadDestruction, that's not a whole pile of money when you factor in taxes, the employees Microsoft has now under MS studios and Bethesda and AAA games development cost.

1795d ago 0 agree3 disagreeView comment

Will it though, they have taken on thousands of employees from Bethesda onto their payroll on top of what they already have, factor in the development cost of AAA games, hypothetically in the future you can play Halo Infinite, ES6, Starfield, Gears, Fallout 5, Avowed, Fable, Forza, Hellblade, Wolfeinstein 3 all for 120 dollars a year? numbers just don't add up, remember their paying taxes and other costs on Gamepass subscription its not pure profit.

1795d ago 2 agree2 disagreeView comment

The problem is it sustainable to create big budget AAA open world games like Fallout/Elder Scrolls that has development costs of 150 million only for you to spend like 10-15 dollars a month cancel anytime to play it. Microsoft cant subsidize Gamepass forever so either game budgets get slashed, gamepass substantially subscription increases price or they turn into service games with micro transactions.
