The PC version.
The industry isn't dying so saying anything is killing it seems irrational. If anything this market is growing and even though jobs are laid off that is standard to any industry.
You can't simply cut out Gamestop or physical stores. They would simply just not stock the PS5.
Also many people won't even want that because they prefer physical. I personal go all digital but people want choice.
Choice is a consumers best friend.
It cost $471 to produce a Xbox One so I think saying it's overpriced is kinda silly but okay I'm not going to convince you on something you won't budge on.
I don't play many Xbox One and PS4 games as I only buy exclusives but it doesn't seem like the PS4 is 50% more powerful.
Not saying your wrong but if it's 50% more powerful the difference seems minimalistic so I just think it silly to call Xbox One weak yet spare an almost as weak PS4.
But like I said not quite sure why that matters when it comes to console gaming because you buy them for the great exclusive games not to care about resolution an...
MS and Sony only see about $6 of each game sold. Assuming it's a digital game that changes to $18. Thought I let you know.
The PS4 is pretty weak as well. Not trying to defend the Xbox One as I do most of my gaming on PC but I do laugh because the PS4 is marginally better than Xbox One.
Honestly both Xbox One and PS4 as pretty weak. Not that, that actually matter but thought I point that out.
That's the goal of capitalism is to eliminate their competition.
Then clearly my comments weren't aimed at you. If you feel that they were you are likely guilty of fanboyism.
All big tech companies use the cloud in their services. Amazon, Apple, MS, Google. Cloud is in all of their big pushes now.
Also it's not abstract and pretty simple to understand. It is applications that aren't on local hardware.
Interested in both discussions.
People are only reading the headline and not the article...
The story isn't actually asking why they are fighting, they are competitors of course. The article is about why they are rivals and recent developments that has made the fighting more intense. From their inception to modern day.
It's an opinion relax with the Strawman arguments.
I think it's absurd that people actually pay again for games they have previous purchased. Absurd.
You really took what I said out of context but okay. If you actually read what I said I was referring to the ending remark in the article which was a blatant fanboy statement to rile up fans.
Also I never said you weren't a gamer if you don't own all three consoles so not quite sure where that came from. I said.
"To me if you love gaming you strive to own all three consoles"
Do people just skip over the strive part. No where...
I never said real gamers so I don't know why you went all crazy about that. Also I worded myself very careful and said you should strive to own all three consoles.
I love playing games so I own all three consoles and a PC because it's my favorite hobby. If you feel that you can somehow get all of your personal gaming needs by just own Sony products(Making an assumption because you said trophy hunter) then by all means do that.
I said personally to me ...
That logic just simply goes over the simple minded people's head. I don't understand why people care so much how other people are enjoying gaming.
Okay some people don't have the console you enjoy. Get over it people like different things is it really that serious that you have to fight over preferences....
I actually laugh when I see people argue because it's a shame people will miss great games.
I need the Witcher 3. Easily GOTY next year.
Excited for this game!
@thehobbyist
No that's stupid as a businessman you don't want competition and also the goal is to make a product that would make everyone buy your products instead.
No one goes into business and says, "Wow, well I want some good competition and want everyone to have equal marketshare and share profits....
Google doesn't have competition in the mobile space yet continues to innovate. It depends on the mission of the company.
