People think it looks like I Am Legend because of the overall feel, mutated humans, and the foliage growing up over everything with the cityscape coming from underneath. I see the resemblance.
Of course Will smith is not the only person to make a post-apocalyptic movie and of course there are plenty of other books, movies, etc depicting similar events so everyone PMSing over someone mentioning I Am Legend need to take their meds and calm down.

@tehnoob3: You have a point but then again had the other MW games not existed, MW3 would not have been near as hyped or have the strong fan following so I don't think it would get the brand loyalty acclaim we see it enjoy. While a decent game in its own right, it does receive a certain amount of its praise just off being a MW game so that argument can really go both ways and I think you and kneon could just go back and forth.

I gotta disagree with both of you. I enjoyed the pacing of Uncharted 3 more than 2. UC2 was an excellent game no doubt about it but I got sick of it towards the end. I kept thinking "another gun fight when will this end" whereas Uncharted 3 varied it more by mixing smaller fights with intermingled platforming between and I loved the longer space between fights such as Cartegena and the Rub'al Khali where you could look around and take it easy for a while.

Gotta agree with all of that. I loved everything about the 3rd game. Naughty Dog have outdone themselves and this gets my vote for GOTY.

Your argument is flawed for 2 reasons. Multiplats aren't a fair judge because the PS3s unique (and admittedly difficult) architecture means that only inside devs will put forth the effort to make it sing but we have seen that when they do it shows. The second reason was in an article that came up a couple weeks ago where it was stated that MS will not allow a multiplat game that does not run equally on both consoles so even if a dev did take advantage of the PS3 and the game ran better th...
Although the history of the numbers works out to 8GB in the next consoles I really doubt it will be that much. That is excessive even for PC games so especially for consoles. I think 2-4 GBs is sufficient. For instance in PS4 an updated CELL with 1 GB of XDR and a nice GPU with 1-2 GBs should work out quite well. Similar setup for Nextbox's CPU and GPU though I doubt it will be XDR.
I really liked the SP but those speed runs were so frustrating I just stopped. I watched the online videos but they didn't help. I did enjoy the art direction and combat system though.
Depends what part of the disc you are reading. DVD is only faster on the outer areas of the disc while read speeds slow as you move in. As you started to point out, this really is moot anyway as Guerilla, Naughty Dog and others have shown you can cache the data to the harddrive to make up for any streaming or loading issues there may be. Also there are 4X and 8X Blu-Rays now that destroy DVD speeds.

Very well said but I think a high-end GPU with increased XDR RAM will up the cost. I think there is no way they will exceed $500. I can see a $400 console on Sony's side with a great deal more capability than the PS3 in all aspects and of course if it uses CELL it should still run PS3 games without a hitch.
Numbers 3, 14, 18 all had decent size boobs. The others are on the small side. They could all use bigger booties, wider hips, and thicker thighs.
