I hate to say it since I know this site is full of ps3 lovers but there are much better places to use thesed apps then the slow xmb. Techincally don't you have all these allready from the ps3 browser or is the browser another one one of those attrociously slow options.
I imagine the always online thing will be a option just like on wiu for people who have internet and would like to have their updates done and over with when they game.

I purchase new 95 percent of the time as I get most of the games I play at midnight at either walmart or gamestop as I work weird hours that makes those times convienent for me. That said getting rid of used would suck for me a I do trade in a lot of my games when stores offer extra promotions. Kinect Is here to stay as ms has stood behind it. Move is moving on out and I will be surprised if it lasts on the ps4.
Loved prototype on the 360 when it debuted and hopefully part2 will be even better. I also very much enjoyed the infamos series and played both of them. I don't know why prototype and infamous get compared to 1 another as they really are not that similar. I also will be playing the Witcher2 for the first time as I really don't game on my computer other than building a park in rollercoater tycoon.
I own both consoles but choose to game on the 360 because the ps3 is a pain to navigate and always is trying to make me update firmware or install this and that. I just want to game and I know a lot of other people choose the 360 for ease of use and live and more consistant multiplat game experiences. This is just my opinion and my reason but as I said I do own both and do choose to play on 1 a heck of a lot more then the other for these reasons and a few more not listed.
For me as I do appreciate all games would say, Resitance1, uncharted2, heavyrain, mgs4, and demon souls. I'm looking foward to the last of us, and the last guardian.

If you read th article he's not saying current consoles will last that long. He I saying that consoles in general as it may be the 720 or ps4 will last another 6 to 8 years before apples tablets can catch up and be a replacement to consoles.
If I was bioware I would say because of this we are going to shelve the mass effect series and concentrate on something new so we can put this behind us. If that's what you guys want then keep conplaining. Maybe bioware should have kept this series console exclusive.
Save ya the read. The ps3 lost big time to the 360 on yet another huge game. Last year it was skyrim and this year MassEffect3. I'm so glad to be a dual console owner and very happy to give my 360 most of my time as the ps3 seems to be a mess with all of its installs and ram issues. I sure hope Sony has learned from there many mistakes and I hope MS has learned not to rush a console to market.
I bought this on the 360 and have seen only 1 game bug where the faces were turned. I have seen nothing else. Maybe I'm enjoying the game to much but its fantastic.
