X-posed.
It's kinda weird how people believe this rumor so deeply, I mean no one has shown any proof or a source yet I get replied like this anytime I ask about it.
My guess is that it may eventually come to other consoles, seeing as it's made by Activision. They prefer to have ALL the money as opposed to SOME of the money.
This is really disappointing, Nintendo needs to crack down and sell these things from their own website.
Once again Sony knocking it out of the park with another win for gamers.
I don't know if it's publishers, devs, or fans, but I think the whole gaming community needs to cool down on trying to make everything an E-sport. Overwatch is a fun game, and is popular because it's fun. I imagine most people play it for the enjoyment value of leveling, playing with friends, the mixture of modes, and just the gameplay in general, but that doesn't mean it needs to be the next E-sport.
Certain games can exist without needing to be big profess...
If you don't like the game don't let it bother you, it's a good game, and it's popular for a reason, maybe you don't like it and that's fine, doesn't make it garbage though.
Personally, I think it looks like another version of the Last of Us, it could've been Last of Us DLC and I would've been fooled.
The difference is obvious. If you make a mod with them you're guaranteed a paycheck as they're paying you for making content for their game even if they get a cut.
Making a mod without them you're making it free, which is great, but you'e not really getting anything for your work. So largely it comes down to whether or not the modder in question wants to be paid for their work, or if they want to continue to contribute to the mod community for free.
I think a lot of people are really getting paid mods mixed up with 3rd party content.
1. Bethesda's Creation Club seems to be less about "paid mods" and more similar to premium content being made by Bethesda, they'll probably hire other talented modders and pay them for their work, which basically makes their creations DLC since they're going to be working on Bethesda's pay.
2. Mods always should be free. The only mods that reall...
Because most of the time people don't pay for mods, people don't believe in paying for mods, so the majority of the time while it sounds nice to donate to the modder, most people don't because they beleive they shouldn't have to since mods should be free.
Valve's handing of paid mods went south due to lack of curation, they allowed basically anyone who wanted to monetize their mod to do so. It seems like Bethesda is trying to make their own mods/content or probably hire modders to make paid content under their wing.
Isn't that what creation club is? It's bethesda basically making their own mods/DLC and asking users to pay for it.
Edit: Why downvote me for just explaining it, i don't support it, i'm just clarifying.
I wouldn't say Microsoft as a whole, probably just Xbox and the brand, MS is mostly a tech company, Xbox is their gaming divisions, I don't know if the whole company should be judged by a couple of fools on the gaming side of things.
@Specimen79 Based on what evidence? EA has been known to be one of the best places to work for a lot of poeple, they may not always be on part with games, but as an employer they seem pretty great.

Speak for yourself friend. I'm hoping this turns out good and they build upon what made Beyond Good and Evil great, say what you will about "people" but that's too much of a blanket statement. I can't speak for anyone but myself, and i believe the creator of the game respects the IP enough to do it justice, I just hope Ubisoft doesn't allow investors to out do creativity.
Also all we've seen is literally one trailer, and the games not out for ...
Sadly the hottest stories will always be overly negative, or overly positive towards one side or the other, with fanboys fighting it out. I like N4G but this site doesn't really do much for neutrality among gamers.
I feel like they should've just combined the pre show into the actual show, because the pre show was arguably more entertaining than the main show.
I'm sure they're as serious with this as they are their usual gimmicks that are released, hyped up for 2 months, then forgotten about.
For people mentioning Mighty No.9 And Yookah Laylee, we need to realize that people are hungry for nostalgia, but that doesn't mean just give us half baked games and think nostalgia will do all the leg work for you. Crash N. Sane Trilogy proves that while nostalgia is important quality and attention to detail still goes a long way.
Look at Might Gunvolt Burst, it's what Mighty No.9 should've been, it's the true successor to the classic Mega Man.
