I think it is for the best. Let the devs do their thing.
Personally, i hated the platforming in GoW.. the meat of the game is in the fighting mechanics and story. If you’re gonna have jumping it needs to work extremely well like Uncharted or Tomb Raider
Capcom knows how, they just rather give us less for our money. DLC and season passes should not even exist for INCOMPLETE fighting games. Make a complete game first then add characters as extra content. MvC2 remains the best of the series with how much value you get plus great art direction and game-play.
Uncharted is like a non stop action adventure film. TLOU is like an horror , thriller, and action game. I would compare the latter to Resident Evil or Left for dead. Its almost like comparing Mario against Zelda.
new hardware isn't why Xbox is lagging. It is because they lack variety in their games lineup. If I like Platformers, JRPGs, or Great Single Player experiences I won't get that with XBOX. If they fix that it could help repair their image but probably won't help them worldwide , especially in the EAST.
I think it's cool. One of the main reasons I have stayed with Nintendo since the late 80s. This isn't going to replace traditional games . This is just a nice side project for families wanting an activity to do together. With 3D printers being very popular , I could see this doing well. It's not for everyone however.
As long as “positive changes” = more games
The sad thing about this question is Microsoft has the money to do better but won’t. By MS doing what it does, it makes it easy for PS4 to win. Has Sony gotten complacent towards MS? Nope, far from it. The games are lined up as we speak , with more announcements on the way.

He does have flaws . You ever watch the Justice league cartoons? He can be attacked mentally, with magic, kryptonite, and red sun. Batman had a contingency plan to take out every justice league member incase they turned evil.
Being hurt or not hurt is not what makes a game fun. Its about the gameplay and story.
I used to have the sentiment that no one can make a Superman game because of how powerful he is. I thought really hard about it.

+ make it mission based and if too many civilians die , you have to start over etc.
Sumperman maybe powerful but he still is limited.
Whatever challenges he has in the comics needs to be fleshed out in the game.
I wanna know myself. Monitors need to step up their game so that we get great HDR like TVs have. My issue is I don't want to use a 50 in TV as a PC monitor.
PS4 had low stock probably because of that insane "why anyone would pass up on" 199 price tag during the week of Black Friday. Console gaming is doing just fine
I don't feel burned because of the Ports (being a Wii U owner since Launch 2012). What I feel burnt about is Nintendo not Branding Wii U correctly and trying to ride the success of Wii. Once they messed up there, there wasn't anything else that could have been done once everything fell flat. Now that they did what they needed to for Switch to take off, they need to keep the games coming.
I remember when Wii came out with GameCube ports. No need to get upset, buy what you like. My wish is to have Nintendo Bundle some of their Classics as a Collection. Like Pikmin 1-3, Mario Galaxy, Metroid etc. Collections are one of my favorite things about PlayStation. They came out with so many on PS3.
Nothing wrong with ports especially for many owners of Switch, who never owned a Wii U. The Switch gives these games new life. Also they are at least adding content as well.
I may have started gaming with Atari 5200/2600 but it was NES that took gaming to next level with great game-play and game design. I have grown with them since. There are many companies now that make great games but it wouldn't feel complete without Nintendo games.

Actually it does. Bedtime stories are creepy. Hansel and Gretel, goldie locks and the three bears, 3 little pigs, even the nursery song rock-a-bye baby is about a baby falling to it’s death. I would tell my kids funny stories because some of the traditional ones made them scared at night lol
It is a waste of resources and ruins performance of demanding games. Fully supporting a game lowers piracy more than tamper proof tech (ask CD Projekt Red The Witcher 3).
