I Truly understand what the article is suggesting. I still feel Nintendo and other companies need to take a chance and try to give us a fully voiced Zelda, Mario, Dragon Quest, and Persona games etc. Personally I don't want the character to be me. That's why I play games to enjoy a world not like my own. Look at Spider-Man. Most fans relate well with the character and he talks a lot. Having a dedicated game store is a great thing. The problem is the company has gotten sleazy with it’s practices. Some of the employees are awesome and treat me with respect and friendliness. Then on the flip side I have had many headaches dealing with how some employees sell your preorders to walk in customers, sell you opened games as new etc. The way they handled amiibo preorders during the amiibo craze. Outdated ordering system. Rip off on shipping costs. If they fixed how they do things ...

Wouldn’t bother me one bit either... This would in turn cause Sony to up their game. We (gamers) win when competition is heated. I really enjoyed their (Xbox ‘s) output in previous gens but since then their focus was misdirected by what they wanted us to accept instead of giving us what we wanted (games).
This ain't sports you don't have to pick a team. Most of us aren't rich so we don't need so many games every month. Mid January I got my Mario games (NSMBU Deluxe and Mario & Luigi Inside Bowser) then later in the month RE2 and Kingdom Hearts 3. If 7 or 8 great games came out in a month (across different platforms) I would have to put off some and get my favorites. So proper spacing is great for us gamers. I’m glad most of us united on the state of Nintendo online and Nintendo appears to be listening.
Overall I am happy with it. I do however feel Sony could have stepped it up a bit with the hardware. It is a minor set back that PS5 releasing will remedy. If Sony does a Mid gen upgrade for ps5, I hope they do the best they can.
I think they are saving the norse big guns for the sequels.

As for the list a few on the list aren't that great. I loved the villains in Persona 5, RE 7, Spider-Man, Yakuza 6, and Dragon Quest XI
I think many are missing the point of why many want P5 on Switch. Many want to play on the go. I love my game consoles and this gen PS4 has been my go to console mostly but Switch gives us something different. Also Many Nintendo fans are RPG fans as well.
I own P5 already on PS4 and completed it 100%. Some games are worth the double dip if that adds some new features or new way to play. How many times have we bought RE4?
